When Ice Met Fire

"Yunlan, I can't let you..."

"Jie, let him come inside. Please don't worry. I will be fine. I told you I trained myself to hold my pain to be near him," Yezhun cut Shen Wei's prevention to Zhao Yunlan to enter her apartment when Yezhun is around to avoid any pain between them when Shen Wei will be in pain if Yezhun is in hurt for the feeling towards Zhao Yunlan.

Shen Wei sighs to hear that from Yezhun and she lets Zhao Yunlan to enter her apartment. Like Yezhun assured her, she didn't have any pain now. She didn't know how did Yezhun do that but it's real she is not in a pain like before when the fire is near her. She knows now that fire is actually Zhao Yunlan. Zhao Yunlan is the reincarnation of Kunlun, that god of mountain who had that fire. And Shen Wei has that ice in her heart because of that curse. The ice cone that previous ghost face stroke into the previous ghost slayer's heart.

"I will prepare the drinks for us. You stay here with him. And Zhao Yunlan, can you stay here tonight to join us for the summon from Kunlun?" Yezhun asked as she assured to Shen Wei to stay with Zhao Yunlan.

Zhao Yunlan nods agreed as he heard about the real happened to Yezhun through the phone call from Shen Wei on this evening. He wants to know the source of that curse too just like Shen Wei. So, he gambled his trust toward Yezhun now. He wants to know about them in this life or even in the previous life. He knows he is the reincarnation of Kunlun but his soul fires are not balanced for the missing of soul fire from the left shoulder. He wonders where is that soul fire from his left shoulder now. And he wonders for how Kunlun still can summon Yezhun when Kunlun supposedly was died now to reincarnate him in this life like the reincarnations of these ghost kings.

"Yezhun, I know you are still feeling guilty to cause those 10 students are missing now. I mean to relate with their missing. Like you, I want to know the truth too. So, I asked the permission from the superior to go further for this case and to let you and your jiejie to join us too to find the truth," Zhao Yunlan said before Yezhun can leave them at there to prepare the drinks.

"Thank you to gamble your trust to me, Zhao Yunlan. I know you are afraid if I am the same ghost face as my previous life," Yezhun replied.

Zhao Yunlan smiles.

"I am still worried. But I am more worried to know the real reason for that curse. I believe there is a misunderstood amongst us whether in this life or in the previous life. If not, Kunlun will not summon you and let you to correct your mistake while forgetting your feeling over me," Zhao Yunlan assured.

Yezhun smiles and she walks away to feel something in her heart. She hurriedly enters the kitchen which a bit far from the place where Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan are staying now. She clenches on her chest and she lets the pain only attacking on her, not her sister. As long as she is far away from Shen Wei and her heart feeling over Zhao Yunlan has stroking her heart, she will feel that pain and Shen Wei will not feel it. But if Zhao Yunlan is around them both and that situation happened, that will cause the ice in Shen Wei's heart will be melting drastically and hurt Shen Wei to feel Yezhun is in a pain.

"Meimei, are you hurt?" Shen Wei asked as she reached to Yezhun at the dine table when she noticed Yezhun took a longer time to prepare the drinks for them.

Yezhun smiles.

"I am fine, jiejie. Just feel a bit tired now. Maybe I need to take a sleep earlier. So, you and Yunlan need to join me soon, okay? I believe Kunlun will summon us together soon in our sleep," Yezhun reminded while lying to her sister about her health condition now.

Shen Wei sighs in relief.

"You just discharged from the hospital and that stroking sword wound is still there. You must take a proper rest, okay?" Shen Wei said and Yezhun just nods for that.
