I forgot to say something in the last chapter. I don't know if anyone noticed the reference. Lee Minho is a dancer from Stray Kids.
I'm a stayatiny. Just letting you know.
Okay, let's stop the chatter and start the chapter.

/The minor family home/
Meanwhile, Aspen, Alex, and Tae were at Alex's parents' house Vegas just got home from the office.

"Vegas?" Pete questioned as he heard the front door close shut.

"Hi," Vegas whispered as he stepped into the living room.
"You're not sleeping yet?"

"No, I thought we could...um watch a movie."

"You want to watch a movie with me?"

"Vegas-I..." Pete trailed off.

"Pete..."

"Please?"

"If-if you really want to, then sure. Just let me shower and change first." Vegas left the room a little smile forming on his face. Maybe everything will be okay. They'll be okay.

Pete set on a movie before Vegas came down and settled on the couch.

After a few minutes into the movie, Pete started scooting over to Vegas's side. Before Vegas noticed anything happening they were already cuddled up on the couch. He didn't mind it.

After about half an hour into the movie, Vegas started nodding off. Eventually, he fell asleep, and when Pete noticed he paused the movie, laid his husband fully onto the couch, and covered him with a blanket.

"Good night, Vegas," Pete whispered admiring the sleeping man. Pete was lost in thoughts.

Was this really the man he knew from before, the man who acted like a devil? The man who was known as a devil through the whole mafia industry.
Did he really change that much in the last three years? Was it really Pete that changed him?
Love?
He seemed like a caring husband, brother, and father, like a perfect lover.

Pete admired his husband a little longer before he lay beside him and closed his eyes falling asleep shortly after.

—————————
The strange thing is when Pete woke up he didn't wake up on the couch but in his bed. Did Vegas...? Did he move him to the bed in the middle of the night?
He had unanswered questions but Vegas wasn't there to answer them, so he slowly got out of bed and went downstairs.

As he stepped into the hallway he finally smelt the oh-so-familiar smell of freshly made coffee and some bacon and eggs. This family really didn't eat like a normal Thai family, and Pete needed to still learn that.

"Good morning." Pete greeted as he stepped into the kitchen expecting to see someone else and not Vegas.

"Mmm, good morning." He greeted back not looking away from the stove.

"I didn't know you could cook."

"Yeah, there's a lot of things you don't know about me."

"Sorry." Pete felt bad. He didn't know Vegas at all.

"You don't need to apologize for anything."
"Don't apologize from now on anymore, okay?"

"I won't. I promise." Pete told him before Vegas took two plates out and placed the bacon and eggs on them.

"Thanks for the breakfast, it looks delicious but won't Macau be joining us?" Pete asked.

"No, he texted me telling me that he was going to stay over at his friends, so it's just the two of us," Vegas explained to his husband.
