It was two weeks after the accident and after going to see Venice, Macau and Aspen, Kim and Chay were on their way to the adoption center. Of course Chay didn't know that, it was a surprise and even Venice who was almost four could keep his mouth shut.
The only ones who knew were Kinn, whom Kim told because he needed help with some preparations for the court, Aspen and Venice who overheard his uncle and aunt talking and demanded to know what was going on, so they told him he was getting a baby cousin and he was very excited, to say the least. And Pete, who now didn't even remember exactly who Kim and Chay even were.
When Kim parked the car in front of the center Chay didn't know what to say. What were they doing here? Was this the surprise?
Kim left the car and opened the door for Chay, just like a real gentleman. But they didn't go inside, instead Kim went to the car's trunk and opened it reviling shopping bags.
Chay checked the bags. He found baby clothes, bottles, pacifiers and everything that a baby needed. And now Chay was even more confused. What is happening?
"Kim what is all this?" Chay eventually asked his fiancé. Not seeing that Alisa was standing behind him with Kay in her arms.
"Turn around." Kim started.
"It's for Kay." He continued when Chay turned around."But don't they have strollers, baby high chairs and baby car seats?"
"They do."
"Than why did you buy them?"
"Because this little guy isn't in the care of the center anymore." Kim said taking Kay into his arms without fear.
"Wait! You mean...you adopted a kid for us!?" Chay didn't know what to say. He knew that the Theerapanyakuls were crazy but he never expected Kim to do something like that. Not his fiancé.
"Oh my god Kim?!"
"Do you not like it?"
"No, no I do it's just...um you know what you did right?"
"Yes, I was sane when I made the decision."
"Than let's take this little boy home, why don't we?" Chay suggested and Kim's eyes lit up. Chay agreed on taking the baby home and after they would place the boy into the baby car seat and head home, he was going to officially be their son.
The car drive home wasn't long but to Chay it seemed like it was taking too long. Kay was happily cooing in the back of the car and Chay could see Kim's eyes at moments traveling to the rear-view mirror looking at Kay.
"Kim, what about baby food, did you buy that too?" Porchay asked but his fiancé didn't answer his question.
When Kim was almost pulling into the driveway, Chay noticed that there was a black jeep already parked there and two people were standing by it.
"Hey." Aspen greeted them when they exited the car and Kim went to unbuckle Kay and take him out of the seat.
"Baby, can we see baby cousin now?" Venice beamed, he was very excited to get a baby cousin.
"Sure, but let's go inside first, okay?" Chay laughed giving him his hand and leading him into the house.
Kim was sitting on the couch with the baby still in his arms and Venice sitting beside him and looking curiously at his cousin.
"Can I hold him too?" Venice asked again, now looking at his uncle. Kim didn't know what to say, could Venice hold Kay? So Kim looked at Chay who wasn't sitting far away from them with Aspen.
"Hm, you can, just sit properly and Kim can than hand him to you." Aspen answered and Venice immediately sat down straight on the couch, not daring to move.
Kim explained to him that one of his hands should support the head and the other the baby's body, before carefully placing Kay onto Venice's lap.
Kim was like on Cloud 9, it felt like a dream. If someone had told him three years ago that he was going to get married and adopt a child, he would have laughed in their faces.
"Who else knew about this, love?" Chay asked his fiancé, getting him out of his thoughts.
"Kinn and um...never mind only Kinn knows."Kim didn't know what to say, say that Pete knew about it or not?
"Oh, so P' also knew."
"Yes, he did."
"Look, he fell asleep." Venice spoke, turning the adults attention to him and the baby. And really Kay fell asleep in Venice's lap so Chay picked him up.
"You can take him to sleep into our room, you know." Kim said before Chay could sit back down.
"On our bed?"
"No, the bodyguards already set up his own bed."
"They did?"
"Yes."
So Chay was now heading to their room, taking Kay to his bed, so he could sleep peacefully, without anything bothering him.
"Your dad really planed everything for your arrival didn't he? He's so romantic." Chay said laying the infant into his cot.
Chay looked around the room and the first thing he noticed was the baby monitor on the night stand, so he turned it on.
The next thing he saw was a camera, that wasn't there before, posited in the corner, right above Kay's cot.
Kim really thought of everything. As Chay was lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice his fiancée walking in. Only when the older hugged him from behind did he notice the others presence.
"Did they leave already?"
"Yes. Also Kinn called they're going to visit tomorrow after they leave the hospital." Kim said leaning in kissing the younger on the cheek.
"I love you. Do you know that, Kim?"
"Yes, I do. I love you too, baby."
