Part 7

The twins Everly and Eliana were home for the weekend so Alex and Aspen went to visit them, before the girls had to go back to Korea.

The twins were seventeen and studied in a Korean boarding school. They visited once in a while because they were busy with school work.

"They're here." Everly exclaimed running down the stairs of the mansion to go open the door for her brother and his wife.

"Already?" Her mother Jane popped out of the kitchen.
"I need to call Kiet." She said as she hurried off.

"Wait for me Eve!" Eliana ran to her sister.

"Hi." Alex and Aspen greeted as the door was opened.

"Come in." Eliana said.
"Not you Alex." She finished off as she took Aspen's hand and led her to the living room where she sat her down on one of the couches.

"I have so much to tell you." She explained and Everly frowned as she sat beside her sister-in-law.

"Not fair, I have a lot to talk about too. And I was the first one at the door too." Eve whined.

"Wait for your turn." Eliana spat back. And the usual girl bickering started.

"El why don't you let Eve go first, huh?" Alex tried to reason with the girls. 

"No, I was here first."

"That's not true El."

"Okay, enough. I'm not something you two can bicker about. Eliana you go first and Eve will go last. I mean even Venice is more mature than this." Aspen jumped in as the girls were getting louder, too loud for her liking.

"Sorry." The twins apologized in unison.

"It's okay. Now tell me what you want."

"So there's this really cute guy in my class and he asked me out and-"

"No." Alex exclaimed, cutting his sister off.

"Alex let her finish what she was talking about." Aspen looked at her husband.

"But-"

"No buts Alex, stop it. She's not five anymore. She can do whatever she wants."
"Please, do continue."

"He asked me out and I said yes. And now we're going on a date when I get back to Korea."

"Well do tell me more. What's his name?" Aspen was interested in this conversation a little too much.

"His name is Minho. He's tall, has brown eyes and he's very handsome." Eliana continued her explanation.

"I can confirm that." Eve said after the handsome part was said.

"Wow, so if you two marry and he takes on your last name he'l be Lee Minho." Aspen joked and both girls broke out in laughter.

"Very funny, darling." Alex wished he wasn't there right now.

"What about you Eve? What's new in your life?" Aspen went on clearly seeing how uncomfortable her husband was with this conversation.

"I have all A's and I joined a dance team at my school. They mostly do kpop covers. It's very fun."

"That's awesome. How can you have all A's? You're too smart for this family." Aspen joked again but now only Eve laughed. El and Alex pouted.

"Dinner's ready." Jane announced as she stepped into the room.

"But dad's not home yet. Shouldn't we wait for him eomma?" Alex asked his mother.

"No, it's okay. He said that he was going to be a little late. He'll join us later." She explained before they went and sat down to eat.

They were chatting amongst themselves, still eating dinner and they didn't notice someone coming in. Or more specifically two more people. The first one to notice was Everly.
