Friday was a normal day with most of them still preparing for the wedding. Vegas went to the gym early in the morning and Pete woke up alone and cold in their bed.

When Pete got up he went to check on Venice, who was in fact already awake and sitting on his bed when Pete walked in.

"Mornin' papa." Venice greeted him with a smile.

"Good morning, baby. Did you sleep well?" Pete asked and Venice nodded.

"Let's go make some breakfast." They went downstairs, where Macau was already eating his breakfast.

"Oh, hey guys. Good morning."

"Mornin' Cau."

"Where are you going so early, huh? You don't have class today."

"It's not that early."

"It's eight Macau, that's early for you."

"Well if you really wanna know I'm going out with my...."

"Your...?"

"Date for the wedding." Macau stated.

"You have a date?" Aspen asked as she heard Macau say it just when she got there.

"Is it the boy you went on a date with after the accident?" She asked again.

"Yes, now no more questions. I'm going out. Bye." And with that he grabbed his stuff and left.

"Is Vegas still sleeping?" Aspen questioned Pete.

"No, he was gone when I woke up. He's probably at the gym again." He answered getting Venice seated and giving him his breakfast.

"Did something happen?"

"No, why?" Pete asked confused.

"Well, Vegas doesn't really go to the gym. He only goes if something bad happened. It's a coping mechanism for him. We all have one and his is punching a punching bag." Aspen explained.

"I didn't know that."

"Now you know."

"Can you watch Venice? I'll get Vegas something to eat."

"Okay."

Pete made his way to the gym, where Vegas was violently punching the punching bag.

"I made you something to eat." Pete announced for Vegas to notice him.

"Thanks." Vegas took his boxing gloves off.

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah, why'd you ask."

"Well, Aspen said something might have happened because you were here."

"Nothing happened, she's probably just worried." Vegas brushed it off.

"You're acting weird. You've been acting weird since I came home from the hospital. What the fuck is your problem?"

"You're my problem."

"What?"

"It's nothing."

"No, tell me. No one tells me anything around here. You're keeping something from me and I know it."

"Just promise me something, that if I tell you, you won't leave."

"Leave? Like leave you?"

"Yes."

"I promise I won't leave you."

"They told you about the mission right?"

"Yeah, Aspen told me I got caught."
