When Aspen and Pete entered the living room they saw Porsche fast asleep on the couch. And Venice and Phoenix drawing something on the coffee table.

"Phoenix did you tire your father out?" Aspen asked after she took a picture of the three. She wold send it to Kim and Chay later.

"Auntie!!" They both screamed as they ran to their aunt for a hug and Porsche stirred awake.

"What...?" Porsche sleepily said not knowing what was going on.

"We're home." Pete announced to his best friend as he approached him and sat beside him on the couch.

"Was Venice good?" Aspen asked Porsche after she whispered to the boys to go play in Venice's room.

"Yeah, they were angels." He sarcastically responded.

"So what did you need to talk to Aspen about?" Porsche turned to Pete.

"He asked me to tell him everything." Aspen answered instead of Pete.

"Everything?"

"Well she didn't tell me everything, everything. She left out some details." Pete told him.

"Thank goodness she did." Porsche retored.

"Stop it Porsche, it's not that bad."

"No Aspen, it is bad. Their story is more messed up then mine and Kinn's."

"You're confusing Pete right now." Aspen stopped arguing and pointed at her brother-in-law, who was looking between the two like a lost puppy.

"Sorry, I should get going now."

"Uh Porsche, could you do me a favor?" Pete asked his best friend.

"Yeah, of course."

"Could you take Venice for the night? You wouldn't mind right?"

"No, we wouldn't mind. Okay, maybe Kinn will mind but I don't. But why do you want me to take him?"

"Well Aspen and Alex are going to Alex's parents and Macau is going to be out late, again, so maybe I could try talking with Vegas." Pete confessed.

"Oh, yeah no problem. If you want some alone time you should always ask." Porsche said hugging Pete before heading to get the two three year olds.

"So you want to talk to him?" Aspen asked him as soon as they were alone.

"I really want to get to know him more. I felt something when we were at the hospital. When he hugged me, when he held me. He was holding onto me for dear life, like I was going to disappear if he didn't hold me close enough. I felt something when he whispered to me good night and that he missed me. I felt something when he kissed me onto the forehead before leaving. I felt it all."

"And I saw how he is with Venice, he really loves him. Of course that doesn't mean that he doesn't love me. I doubt he doesn't. Because I saw the hurt in his eyes when he realized that I didn't remember you and the hope in those same eyes when he came back in."

"I really want to try to love him back as much as he loves me, you, Venice and Macau. I really want to." Aspen was left speechless as Pete finished talking.

They weren't in silence for long because Venice came running in to say goodbye to his pa and aunt.

"Be a good boy, okay Venice?"

"Yes, Papa. Venice is always good." Venice said and Phoenix laughed at his cousin's sentence. They weren't literal angels, more like trouble makers.

"Bye, Phoenix. Bye, Venice. Both be good or uncle Khun will babysit you for a week." Aspen trapped both boys in a hug as they whined at the words.
