"Come in."

I opened the door for Ace. May bitbit kasi siyang pagkain. She asked me earlier if she can eat dinner with me and of course, I said yes. We decided to just eat on my place and actually cook so that we won't have to go outside anymore.

"Linis," she amusingly said after taking a peek of my unit.

I just laughed at it. "Pasok ka."

She took a look around as she enter my place.

Minsan..." Natawa siya sa sariling sinabi.

"Teka nga. Maghahain ako," I said and went to my kitchen.

"Buttered shrimp," I answered while busy transferring it to a bowl.

"Aw, too bad."

Napalingon ako sa sinabi niya. "Why? You don't eat shrimps?"

She nodded and I suddenly felt disappointed. She should have told me about this beforehand. "It's not that I'm a picky eater. I'd love to eat whatever you cooked today. It's just that... I'm allergic to shrimp and I didn't bring meds," sabi niya. Napakamot na lang siya sa batok.

"Oh, I have Cetirizine, if you want," I offered. "I'm not forcing you to eat shrimp, ah! Kung gusto mo lang naman..."

"Yeah, saan ba?" She stood up.

I pointed the small box on the TV stand. "There sa box. Hanapin mo na lang."

She nodded and took the box. Her eyes widened when she opened the box. "Ang dami namang gamot dito. Muntik ka nang maging drugstore, ah."

I laughed. "Shh, kumuha ka na lang."

"Last time din binigyan mo ako ng paracetamol sa library. Remember that?" If only she knows how much I wanted to forget that. She took one Cetirizine from the box and went back to the dining table.

"Mhmm. Kumain na tayo," I said, trying to change the topic. I brought the bowl and plates to the table.

We started eating while catching up with each other. There's a lot that we missed because we haven't been talking much for days.

When we finished eating, she insisted to wash the dishes while I clean up.

I'm actually getting the urge to throw up because I felt like I ate too much, but I didn't wanna do that while Ace is here because she might be offended that I vomited the food that she cooked.

"Masarap ka rin namang magluto," she complimented back. Looks like someone doesn't know how to accept compliments.

"As a matter of fact, no. That's the only dish that I can cook well," I said while laughing at myself. I don't really know how to cook different dishes, just the ones na madaling lutuin.

I don't mind," she said with a smile.
