Mercy's POV

We left the restaurant, still joking about the waitress. Danai pointed out how awkward Chandler got when she stared at him.

"She was intense!" He'd exclaimed.

"She was," Laura added. "I especially loved it when she put her gum on your plate, Val."

"I didn't!" Val said. "I didn't even want to eat after that."

"Yet, you did." Andrew added with a smile.

"Yeah, after I threw her gum on the ground." Val retorted.

It was late when we left, so the driver dropped everyone off at their houses. Val and I were the last ones to be dropped off.

"Bye, Vick!" I said to the driver as I climbed out of the vehicle.

"See you tomorrow, girls." Vick replied before he drove off.

Val and I went up to our suite and went to sleep almost instantly when we got to bed.

Best day ever.
