Mercy's POV

I helped Chandler get back in the wheelchair. I pushed him out of the cafeteria, but before we got all the way out, I heard a groan and a thud. I looked over to see Val standing over Cash. Cash was on the floor, groaning in pain.

"Good job, Val." I called to her.

She looked up and nodded at me.

I pushed Chandler to a room and called for the doctor. Three nurses came in with doctor Peters. They pulled Chandler out of the room and towards the Operating Room.

After about two hours of waiting, the doctors pushed Chandler back into the room. He was unconscious. They placed him on the hospital bed and the doctor called Gina and Grayson out of the room.

Grayson's POV

They wheeled Chandler's unconscious body into the room and called me and my mom out into the hallway.

"It behooves me to inform you that, when he stood up, the sensitive artery snapped. He's paralyzed from the knee down."
