Grayson's POV

Seeing Val with someone else made jealousy spread through me like fire. So when I walked up to the table behind Chandler, I couldn't control my anger. All I saw was red.

Mercy was getting worried about Chandler and how he didn't have anyone to support him while he was walking over. Val hadn't even glanced at me. All I really processed was that my girlfriend was hanging around with Hayes Grier. It made my blood boil.

All I wanted to do was take his drink and dump it on his head. But I knew that that would only get me in more trouble with Val, so I contained myself. That is, until he put his arm around her.

I stood up and snatched Hayes' drink from his hand. He looked up at me and I crushed the cup over his head. That's when a full on fight broke out. Punches were being thrown left and right. I could here people yelling my name, but I still continued to bloody his face.

"Grayson!" I looked up and saw Hayes completely dry and unharmed with both hands on the table. I'd only imagined it.

I looked over and saw Mercy looking at me like I was crazy. Chandler was beside her, giving me the same look. "Dude, you've been sitting there giving Hayes a death stare since you sat down. You good?"

I shrugged and looked at my hands. I wish I had actually done all the things I'd imagined. He's too close to my girlfriend.

"Anyway," Chandler said awkwardly. "You want anything, Mercy?"

"Yes, but I will get it. I don't want you to risk hurting yourself even more." She said.

"Hey, if I'm gonna be like this for the rest of my life, I have to get used to walking. This is good practice." He backfired.

Mercy sighed and held out money for him to take, but he pushed it away.

"Uh-uh. I'll get it." He kissed her cheek and stood up. "Gray, you want anything?"

Just to smack that smile off of Hayes' face. I thought. But, of course, I didn't really say it out loud. I shook my head, never looking up from my hands.
