Chandler's POV

I ran into the back room where there was a phone I could use to call Mercy. When I opened the door, I heard the TV and looked at it, ignoring whoever was watching it.

"Telvision star, Chandler Riggs, was spotted out with his co star, Hana Hayes', best friend, Briana Maphis..."

The anchor lady continued on, but I blocked out everything around me just to stare at the pictures they took of Briana and me.

That is, until she started talking about Mercy.

"When reached for comment, Chandler Riggs was very open about his relationship with Brianna Maphis."

My jaw hit the floor as they played a video package of me standing at the Mercy movie premier.

"Mercy is no longer in my life. Tell the world: I've moved on to better things."

I shook my head, rapidly, unable to make any sounds with my mouth. They showed and picture of me and Briana next to the silly selfie of Mercy and me as the news anchor continued to ruin my life.

"No!" I shouted. "That was out of context! I wasn't talking about Mercy Evans, I was talking about the movie! And the 'better things' were The Walking Dead! They twisted my words around!" I yelled at the black TV screen. Someone had turned it off.

I looked back to the couch and saw Brianna smirking at me. "The whole world knows about us now, Chan," she said, getting up and walking over to me. "I think we should make it official." She wrapped her arms around my neck and tried to kiss me, but I shook her off.

"You did this, didn't you? You gave them all that information in that context just to make it sound like we're together, didn't you?" I was getting angrier and angrier as I started to put the puzzle together.
