Mercy's POV

"I... I'll go with the amputation." He concluded. Now, he wasn't smiling.

"Are you sure?" Gina asked.

"There's no other option, mom. If I don't, I can't be on The Walking Dead anymore. I have to do this."

The doctor put Chandler back in the wheelchair. They were almost out the door when Chandler stopped him.

He looked to me. "I love you."

The doctors took him away before I could reply.

Val's POV

Chandler loves Mercy? I mean, I'm happy for her it's just that, all of her dreams are coming true. Our dreams.

Mercy has a great relationship going with Chandler, and Grayson and I have started something wonderful.

Mercy was sitting on the hospital bed, chewing her nails nervously. I sat in one of the plastic chairs with Gray sitting beside me. His arm was wrapped around me and he was asleep. I would've been, too, if I wasn't so worried.

Not just about Chandler, but about Mercy, too. She seemed spaced out in deep thought. But, what worried me most was when she started switching.

I stood up and went to her side. "Mercy? Calm down, please." I tried to soothe her.

She didn't calm down. It was like she didn't even know I was there. Plan B, then.

Thank god Gina brought flowers for Chandler a while ago. "Mercy, look at the flowers. Count with me, one...two....three." Ever since we saw that episode of The Walking Dead, we figured this was the best solution.

She started shaking, adding on to the switching. I grabbed her hand and continued to count, hoping she would try as well.

She started breathing heavily, and then suddenly passed out.

Oh no. It's happening again.
