Prologue

Once upon a time, in a close-knit family, lived a young woman named Sarah. She carried a secret love for her cousin, Rehan, deep within her heart. Sarah longed to confess her feelings, but fear held her back.

In her attempts to communicate with Rehan, Sarah would often reach out, hoping for a connection. However, it seemed that Rehan was least interested, barely acknowledging her presence. Each rejection left Sarah disheartened, questioning her worth.

To her dismay, she noticed that Rehan shared a close bond with another cousin, Rabbia. Whenever they gathered at family functions, Sarah watched as Rehan gravitated towards Rabbia, engaging in animated conversations. It felt as if Sarah was invisible, a mere afterthought in his world.

Jealousy would occasionally consume Sarah's heart, as she yearned for Rehan's attention. But deep down, she knew the truth. Rehan's actions conveyed disinterest, as if he was forced to engage with her. The realization struck her like a lightning bolt, shattering her illusions.

"Hey Aunt, have you seen Sarah lately?" Rehan asked, concern evident in his voice.

His aunt sighed and replied, "Oh Rehan, Sarah is too busy with her studies these days. She doesn't seem interested in socializing."

Rehan couldn't understand why Sarah had distanced herself. They weren't particularly close, but he remembered how she would come to him and strike up conversations. Her absence began to weigh on him, and he found himself missing her more and more as time went by.

Months passed, and Rehan's longing for Sarah grew stronger. He searched high and low, hoping to catch a glimpse of her. He couldn't shake the memories of their interactions and the genuine interest she showed in him. It puzzled him why her absence affected him so deeply.

Meanwhile, Sarah had made a decision to prioritize her studies and focus on her own growth. She had moved to her grandmother's house and started a new chapter of her life in college. Immersed in her studies, she found solace and even made new friends along the way. The warmth of these connections brought her a sense of contentment and happiness.

Sarah had convinced herself that she and Rehan wouldn't be together anymore, and she was determined to move on. Little did she know, Rehan's heart was silently yearning for her, even though he couldn't quite explain why.

Their paths had diverged, with Sarah embracing her new life and Rehan desperately seeking any trace of her. Life has a way of surprising us, and perhaps fate will bring them together again.
