Rehan was on his way to meet Sarah when he unexpectedly ran into Rabbia. Jokingly, Rabbia asked him, "Where is this train headed?" With a smile, Rehan replied, "To khala's home. Want to come with me?" Rabbia revealed that she was also going to visit her maami(aunt) since they wouldn't be able to see each other for two months. They decided to go together, walking with smiles on their faces.
Meanwhile, Sarah's mother exclaimed, "Rehan has arrived," which made Sarah both excited and heartbroken to see Rabbia by his side, both of them smiling at each other. Sarah tried to stay strong and determined. Rabbia, who had smiled at Sarah, approached her and gave her a genuine hug. Sarah found it difficult to accept, but Rehan also wished her a "Happy journey!" and she thanked them.
"Packing done?" Rabbia asked excitedly. "Hmm, almost," Sarah replied. Rabbia apologized, saying, "Sarah, I'm so sorry I couldn't come to meet you all these days since you came from Delhi." "It's okay, Rabbia," Sarah forced a smile. Rehan chimed in, jokingly saying, "You girls never miss a chance to get emotional, huh?" Rabbia playfully hit him and he pretended to be hurt, saying, "Ouch, who hits like that?" Rabbia playfully hit him again.
Rabbia looked at Sarah, who had a stern expression but quickly changed it to a normal one. Rabbia asked Sarah to join in teasing him, but she said, "It's okay" and forced smile. "You know, he's always teasing me. When you were in Delhi, he would come and sit in my room as if he had nothing else to do," Rabbia said jokingly. "So what? We're partners in crime. Partners who plays together, stays together," Rehan said.
Sarah's heart burned with jealousy. She couldn't help but leave. Meanwhile, they were so engrossed in their teasing that they didn't notice Sarah had gone until her mother asked, "Where is Sarah?" Sarah's mother went to call her.
Sarah was in her room, feeling deeply hurt. She couldn't help but cry her heart out. Suddenly, there was a knock on her door. She quickly wiped away her tears and opened the door to find her mother standing there. Her mother asked, "Why did you leave them and come up here?" Sarah replied, "I just needed to use the restroom, that's why I came."
"Mama, I'm not feeling well," Sarah confessed, her voice filled with vulnerability. "Could you please sit with them for a while? I just need some time alone." She pleaded with her mother, hoping she would understand.
"What happened, bachha? It seemed like you have a fever," Sarah's mother said, her voice filled with concern. She gently guided Sarah to lie down on the bed and handed her the medicine. "Take this, it will help you feel better," her mother said soothingly. Sarah nodded gratefully, appreciating her mother's care and comfort in that moment.
"Where is Sarah?" Rehan asked, his voice filled with genuine worry.
Sarah's mother came to them and sighed, her eyes reflecting a mix of exhaustion and concern. "She is having a fever," she replied, her voice heavy with worry. "I just gave her some medicine, and now she is sleeping."
Rehan and Rabbia exchanged shocked glances. Sarah had seemed perfectly fine earlier, and now she was struck down by a sudden and high fever. Concern flooded their hearts as they contemplated visiting her, but they knew that disturbing her while she was resting would not be wise.
Reluctantly, they made the decision to leave for now, their thoughts and prayers with Sarah as they quietly departed, hoping for her swift recovery.
