As the first rays of dawn peeked through the curtains, casting a gentle glow in Sarah's room, she knelt in prayer, her heart filled with devotion. Unknown to her, her mother quietly entered the room, her eyes widening in surprise and disbelief at the sight before her.
"MashaAllah, Sarah!" her mother exclaimed, her voice a mix of astonishment and joy. "I can't believe my eyes! You are awake and praying Fajr namaz! And look at you, wearing a hejab and Abaya! I am so proud of you, my dear."
Sarah, her face radiant with faith and determination, smiled warmly at her mother. "Alhamdulillah,Mom", she replied, her voice filled with gratitude. "I have found solace and strength in my prayers. It has brought me closer to Allah and helped me embrace my Islamic principles."
Her mother's eyes shimmered with tears of happiness as she hugged Sarah tightly. "My dear, you have truly become a better Muslim. I am overwhelmed with pride and joy to witness this transformation in you. May Allah continue to bless you on this beautiful journey."
Sarah's face lit up as she shared her newfound love for prayer and the Quran. "Mom, I have developed a deep connection with Allah through my prayers and recitation of the Quran. Every Friday, I make sure to dedicate time to recite and reflect upon its teachings. It has brought me immense peace and guidance."
Her mother listened attentively, her heart swelling with love and admiration. "Sarah, my love, I am so glad to hear that. Your devotion and commitment to your faith inspire me. Always remember that Allah is with you every step of the way, guiding you towards righteousness."
Their conversation was filled with gratitude, love, and a shared desire to continue growing as Muslims. As the sun rose higher in the sky, casting its golden rays upon them, they knew that their bond had deepened, strengthened by their unwavering faith.
And soon it was the time for breakfast, when a young girl of Sarah's age entered her house.
Sarah, unable to contain her excitement, jumped up from her seat and rushed over to hug her tightly, "Anabia! I can't believe you're finally here! I missed you so much!"
Anabia's eyes sparkled with joy. "I missed you too, Sarah! It's been three long years, but I'm here now and I have so much to share with you."
Sarah couldn't help but ask, "Anabia, why didn't you come yesterday? I was really looking forward to seeing you."
Anabia's expression turned apologetic. "I'm so sorry, Sarah. I was actually out of town. But today, I made sure to come just to see you and tell you how happy I am!"
Sarah's father, who had been listening to their conversation, chimed in. "Well, we're glad you could make it, Anabia. You're always welcome here."
Anabia smiled gratefully. "Thank you, Uncle! I brought some gifts for Sarah. Can I take her with me?"
Sarah and Anabia made a pleading eyes as they wanted to go out and spend some quality time together.
Sarah's father chuckled. "Alright, alright! How can we resist those puppy faces? But be back soon."
Sarah's mother, sensing the girls' excitement, suggested, "Meanwhile why don't you two go up to Sarah's room? You can catch up and have some privacy."
Sarah nodded eagerly. "Yes, Mom! Let's go, Anabia!"
Sarah and Anabia couldn't contain their excitement as they stepped out together, ready to make the most of their time. They chatted animatedly, sharing stories about their college experiences and catching up on everything they had missed.
As they walked through the bustling streets, they explored their favorite spots, reminiscing about old memories and creating new ones. They laughed, took silly pictures, and enjoyed each other's company to the fullest.
The day flew by in a blur of laughter and adventure. They visited their favorite cafes, tried new foods, and even stumbled upon a cute little bookstore where they spent hours browsing through shelves filled with intriguing stories.
It was a day filled with joy and happiness, the kind that only true friendship can bring. As the sun began to set, Sarah and Anabia reluctantly made their way back home, their hearts full of cherished memories and promises to never let so much time pass before seeing each other again.
