The morning sun cast a warm glow over the Khan family as they gathered around the breakfast table, their laughter and chatter filling the air. Just as the peaceful atmosphere settled, the door swung open, and Kashan stepped into the villa, a bright smile on his face. "Assalamualaikum," he greeted, his voice filled with warmth.

In an instant, the room erupted with joyous greetings. Zakir's cousins, brimming with excitement, exclaimed, "Kashan!" Zayed and Hassan rushed forward, enveloping him in a warm embrace. Laiba and Adeeba followed suit, showering him with love. "How are you, Kashan? It's been so long," they chimed in unison.

Kashan's smile widened, his eyes reflecting gratitude. "Alhamdulillah! It's truly wonderful to see all of you after such a long time," he replied with sincerity. Zaheer, eager to know more, inquired about Kashan's father. "How is your father, dear?"

With a sense of pride, Kashan responded, "Alhamdulillah, Uncle! By the grace of Allah, everything is going well. Mashallah." The room filled with admiration as the family praised Kashan for his nature, his accomplishments as a successful businessman, and his strong bond with Zakir.

Meanwhile, Sarah, who had been quietly observing, felt a mix of shock and curiosity. How could the whole family know Kashan so well, including her own parents and sibling? She had been oblivious to his stature as a remarkable businessman and his genuine character. A whirlwind of emotions swirled within her as she tried to process this newfound knowledge.

As the girls settled into Sarah's room, laughter and chatter filled the air. But something caught their attention. They noticed Humaira, engrossed in her phone. Curiosity piqued, they gently called out to her, "Humaira? We're all here after such a long time. Why do you need to be on your phone all the time? Let's have a conversation."

Humaira looked up from her screen, a sheepish smile playing on her lips. "I'm sorry, guys," she admitted, realizing her distraction. "I didn't mean to be so absorbed in my phone. It's just that I've been caught up with some important messages."

Adeeba, always the peacemaker, chimed in, her voice filled with understanding. "We know you have your reasons, Humaira. But we've missed spending quality time together. Let's catch up and share stories."

As the sisters enjoyed their time together, Haania, their sister-in-law, entered the room with a warm smile. Sensing her desire to be a part of the group, she asked, "May I?"

Sarah, ever welcoming and inclusive, replied with a beaming smile, "Why not, Bhabi?"

Haania's eyes glistened with gratitude as she found her place among these loving sisters. "That's so sweet of you all," she said, her voice filled with warmth. "Actually  I wanted to spend some precious moments with you all. Since I don't get to see you as often. All I know of you is from Zaidan."

Touched by her words, Adeeba said,"We understand, Bhabi."

It was in the evening, Kashan sat among his loved ones in the cozy living room, surrounded by warmth and affection. As they gathered together, Farhan spoke up, his voice filled with genuine care, "Kashan bete, why don't you stay with us? At least till Zakir's wedding."

Kashan hesitated, unsure of how to respond. "How can I?" he questioned, his voice tinged with both gratitude and concern.

Fatima, who was like his mother, gently interjected, her eyes brimming with love, "Yes beta, you should stay with us. You are like our son. I'm sure everyone will be happy."

The cousins, with their infectious enthusiasm, chimed in together, "Yes, please stay na!" Their words echoed through the room, a chorus of affectionate pleas.

The elders, who had always embraced Kashan as part of their family, added their voices to the mix. "It's just a matter of a week bete, and we would be delighted to have you with us," they urged, their eyes twinkling with anticipation.

Kashan felt overwhelmed by the love and warmth that enveloped him. He couldn't refuse any longer. Taking a deep breath, he finally relented, "Okay, I will stay. But let me first inform mama and baba."

Excitement filled the room, joy radiating from every face. The air was thick with anticipation as they eagerly awaited Kashan's response. The thought of having him there, as part of their family, brought smiles to their faces and a sense of completeness to their hearts.

And so, plans were made, preparations set in motion, and the countdown to Zakir's wedding took on an even more special meaning. Kashan's decision to stay had created a bond that would only grow stronger with each passing day, solidifying the love and connection that made them a true family.

In that moment, as laughter and happiness filled the air, they knew that this gathering would be etched in their hearts forever, a testament to the power of love and the beauty of chosen family.

Fatima was in the midst of giving instructions to the kitchen staff, when Ayesha entered the room with a concerned look on her face. "Fatima" Ayesha called out. Fatima turned her attention towards her younger sister and asked, "What's up, Ayesha? Do you need something?"

Ayesha appeared sad and disappointed as she spoke, "Why did you invite Kashan over? I mean, I know he's Zakir's best friend and all, but it doesn't really feel right to have someone staying with us. Plus, he probably has work and stuff to take care of."

Fatima reassured her, saying, "Don't worry, Ayesha. Kashan is like family to us, you know that. And as for work, he actually took leave specifically for Zakir's wedding."

Ayesha continued, her disappointment evident, "But don't you think it's a bit complicated having him live in our house, you know..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Fatima interrupted, her tone firm, "What exactly are you trying to say, Ayesha?"

Ayesha spoke directly, "Fatima, I know you might not like hearing this, but I have to be honest. We have young daughters in our house, and having a guy around..."

Fatima's expression turned serious as she responded, "I understand your concerns, Ayesha, but let me tell you, Kashan is not that kind of guy. He comes from a very respectable family, and we trust him completely."
