As Sarah, her parents, and younger brother gathered around the dinner table, a tranquil silence enveloped the room. Suddenly, Sarah's father broke the stillness, his face glowing with happiness as he announced the exciting news, "Guess what, everyone? We're going to the USA next month! Our beloved Zakir is getting married!"

Sarah's eyes widened with delight, and a wide smile spread across her face. "Oh my goodness! Zakir Bhai is finally getting married? That's amazing! I can't believe it!" she exclaimed, unable to contain her joy.

Her father nodded, his eyes twinkling with pride. "Yes, sweetheart. He's like an elder brother to you, and I know how close you two are. This is such a special occasion for our family."

Sarah's voice trembled with excitement as she replied, "Absolutely, Baba! Zakir bhai means means the world to me. He has always treated me with so much understanding, love, and care. I feel like a sister to him, and I know he feels the same way."

Her mother chimed in, her voice filled with nostalgia, "It's true, Sarah. Ever since Zakir left India, our contact with him has been limited. But we still manage to talk from time to time, even though our busy lives have kept us apart."

Sarah's younger brother, sensing the excitement in the air, grinned mischievously. "Hey, Aapi, do you remember all the fun times we had with Zakir Bhai when we were little? He used to tell us the best stories!"

Sarah laughed, her eyes sparkling with fond memories. "Of course, I do! Those were some of the happiest moments of my childhood. I can't wait to create new memories with him during his wedding."

As the family continued their dinner, their hearts brimmed with anticipation for the upcoming trip. They knew that their journey to the USA would not only be a celebration of Zakir's marriage but also an opportunity to reconnect and strengthen the bond that time and distance had momentarily weakened.

Next day in the afternoon, Sarah stood in front of her closet, a flurry of outfits scattered around her. She knew that looking her best was essential for attending her beloved cousin's wedding in the USA. However, she soon realized that she couldn't handle it all alone. With a determined mind, she decided to seek her mother's help.

As Sarah entered her mother's room, she was greeted by the sound of her mother's voice on speakerphone. Her aunt, Rehan's mother, was on the other end of the line. Sarah paused, listening intently to their conversation as she noticed her mother multitasking, cleaning her room.

Rehan's mother's voice filled the room, "These days, Rehan is so busy. I don't know what he's planning, but he has started his own business. He hardly gets any time to stay at home."

Mrs. Khan, Sarah's mother, responded with a similar tone, "Even Sarah had aspirations of starting her own business and going out into the world. I don't understand why these kids want to leave home."

Sarah's heart sank as she realized the situation with Rehan. It dawned on her that they wouldn't be able to meet for a month or two due to their busy lives and aspirations. However, she understood that she couldn't expect or assume anything. With a heavy heart, she quietly left her mother's room, deep in thought.

On other side, Rehan was having his lunch when he overheard his mother talking to Sarah's mother. He couldn't help but ask, "Are you done with your talking, Ammi?" His mother gave him a stern look and abruptly ended the call. She scolded him, and being an obedient child, he listened quietly. She then informed him that they were going to meet Sarah and her family.

When Rehan learned about Zakir's marriage, it hit him hard. He realized that he wouldn't be able to see Sarah for the next two months. Suddenly, he started to miss her, even though he couldn't quite understand why. He felt regret for not seeing her for a whole week, but deep down, he knew it wasn't his fault. He hadn't intentionally avoided her, he was genuinely busy.
