Habiba went to Fatima's room and said, "Fatima, I have something important to talk about." Fatima was surprised and asked, "What's the matter Habiba? Is everything okay?" Habiba nodded and said, "Actually, we were thinking about Sarah's wedding." Fatima was happy to hear about Sarah's wedding. "That's a great news! But who is the guy?" Habiba said, "That's what I wanted to talk about. Habib and I were thinking about Kashan and Sarah's wedding." Fatima was shocked and surprised. "That's a great news, Habiba. kashan is like our child only. And I know he will keep our Sarah always happy. Let me call their parents so we can talk about Sarah's wedding today itself" Fatima said excitedly. The two sisters-in-law hugged each other.

Her happiness grew as she expressed her thoughts, "I've always felt that Sarah and Kashan would make a perfect match. Their personalities complement each other so well, and they share the same values and dreams for the future."

Habiba's eyes widened with excitement, realizing that Fatima had been thinking along the same lines. "That's incredible, Fatima! I've been thinking the exact same thing. It's as if they were made for each other."

With newfound enthusiasm, Fatima suggested, "Let's talk to his parents and share our thoughts about Sarah and Kashan's marriage. I believe they will be just as thrilled about the idea as we are."

The two sisters-in-law shared a moment of anticipation, knowing that their conversation would pave the way for a bright future for Sarah and Kashan. Their hearts filled with hope and excitement, they embraced, ready to embark on this journey together.

But deep down, Fatima was worried as she knew that her sister Ayesha's intentions were well-meaning, but she also knew that her sister's ambition sometimes overshadowed the happiness of others. Fatima made a silent promise to herself that she wouldn't let greed triumph over the true happiness of Sarah and Kashan. She won't let her sister win her greed over someone's heart.

------

Sarah's heart was heavy with guilt as she stood on the terrace, waiting for Kashan to join her. The moon cast a soft glow, illuminating her anxious face. She knew that this conversation would change everything, but she couldn't keep living a lie.

As Kashan approached, Sarah took a deep breath and mustered the courage to speak her truth. "Kashan, there's something I need to tell you," she began, her voice trembling. "I can't go on like this. I can't pretend anymore."

Kashan looked at her, concern etched across his face. "What is it, Sarah? You seem so restless lately. Please, tell me what's on your mind."

Tears welled up in Sarah's eyes as she took a step closer to Kashan. "I... I love someone else," she confessed, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've been carrying this guilt for far too long, and it's eating me up inside."

Kashan's eyes widened in disbelief, his heart sinking with each word. "Sarah, why didn't you tell me sooner? We're engaged, we're supposed to share everything with each other."

Sarah nodded, her voice filled with remorse. "I know, Kashan. And I'm sorry for keeping this from you. I was afraid of hurting you, afraid of losing you. But I can't go on with this facade. It's not fair to either of us."

Kashan's face turned pale, a mix of shock and sadness washing over him. "What about Rehan? Why didn't you tell your parents about him?"

Sarah's gaze dropped to the ground as she struggled to find the right words. "Rehan doesn't love me, Kashan. And telling my parents would only bring them pain. I wanted to protect them, but in doing so, I've hurted you."

Her words hung heavy in the air as Kashan tried to process the truth. Sarah's tears welled up as she continued, "If you don't want to marry me after knowing the truth, I understand. You still have two months before the wedding. I don't want to force you into a life built on lies."

With that, Sarah turned and left, leaving Kashan stunned and grappling with a whirlwind of emotions. The truth had been spoken, and now both Sarah and Kashan had to confront the choices that lay before them.

------

As Sarah settled into her room, her heart weighed heavy with worry. She couldn't help but wonder about Kashan's decision. With a sigh, she glanced at the ring on her finger, questioning if she had made the right choice.

Feeling the need to pour her emotions onto paper, Sarah reached for her diary on the side table. With a pen in hand, she began to pen down her feelings, letting her thoughts flow freely onto the pages.

"Dear Diary," Sarah started, her pen gliding across the paper. "Today was a bittersweet day as my family and I bid farewell to everyone and embarked on our journey back to India. But as much as I tried to hide it, my heart longed for Kashan's presence."

Adeeba's teasing words echoed in her mind, causing a mix of anticipation and sadness. She couldn't help but wonder that Kashan might cancel the wedding, yet everything seemed normal. Zakir's explanation that Kashan had an important meeting brought a sense of relief, but Sarah couldn't shake off the sadness of not being able to say goodbye.

"After fifteen long hours of traveling, we finally arrived home. Exhausted, I retreated to my room, but my mind was consumed by thoughts of Kashan's decision," Sarah continued writing, her words flowing with a mix of longing and uncertainty. "I desperately wanted to know what he had decided, if he still wanted to be with me despite everything."

Sarah paused for a moment, her eyes fixated on the words she had just written. Doubt and worry filled her heart, questioning if she had made the right choice in revealing her true feelings. She closed her diary, placing it back on the side table, hoping that time would bring clarity to her situation.

With a heavy heart, Sarah lay on her bed, her thoughts consumed by the uncertainty of Kashan's decision. Sleep eventually found her, but her dreams were filled with unanswered questions and the hope for a future where love and understanding prevailed.

------

As Kashan stepped into the store room, he couldn't help but feel a wave of nostalgia wash over him. His mother, Nazia, was diligently cleaning, despite her being unwell. "Mama, what are you doing here?" Kashan asked, concerned. His father chimed in, expressing his frustration that Nazia was taking on all the work.

But Nazia was determined. With a box in her hands, she turned to Kashan, a glimmer of excitement in her eyes. "It's what I've been searching for," she exclaimed. "Your childhood pictures and things that I've kept safe all these years. I always wanted to take them out but never got an opportunity"

Curiosity piqued, Kashan peered into the box, his heart skipping a beat as he stumbled upon a photo of his seven-year-old self standing beside a little girl. A flood of memories came rushing back. "She...?" Kashan smiled, his voice trailing off.

Nazia, beaming with joy, asked if he remembered her. "Not really," Kashan admitted. "But I do know she was my best friend. We used to play together. But after we moved to the USA, we lost touch."

Nazia recounted fond memories of their friendship, how caring Kashan had always been towards her. "You would run after her and save her whenever she got hurt," she reminisced. "You two were inseparable, always causing mischief together."

Lost in thought, Kashan wondered aloud, "Where could she be now?"

The question lingered in the air, filled with a sense of longing and curiosity. Little did Kashan know that fate had a way of bringing people back together, even after years of separation. Only time would tell if their paths would cross again, rekindling a friendship that had once meant the world to them both.
