[About three weeks ago]

A young man walked through the corridors of the small temple his sect resided in. He was extremely excited. He was planning on telling his sect leader about those great people who had saved him out of the grasp of those crafty demons.

Since he had promised to provide a business opportunity for his new friends from Cang Qiong Mountain, he wanted to stay true to his words and get to it immediately. Hence he was in such a hurry.

The young man's sect leader was in her study, currently busy with paperwork. When her subordinate barged in, instead of becoming angry she merely turned around with a friendly look on her face. This was her, always calm and friendly, except when she saw fire that was, bit that information was trivial.

"Ma'am, I apologize for the intrusion," the young man said quickly and took a respectful bow, "But there's something I wished to inform you about."

"Go ahead and speak," the sect leader replied and smiled.

The young man blushed slightly. Although he had an immense respect for his sect leader, she was still extremely beautiful and her smiling like that would probably always have him a little flustered. He cleared his throat and spoke quickly before he ended up embarrassing himself.

"I'm sure sect leader knows about our failure on the last mission," he started.

"I'm currently looking through the reports. I'm more or less informed," the sect leader replied and patted the papers on the table.

"I see... So I won't have to explain that part at least," the young man said and gave a short chuckle that sounded more nervous than anything, "The two immortal masters who rescued us are in fact from a very influential sect and don't hold insignificant positions either. They are the sect leader and the Qing Jing peaklord of Cang Qiong Mountain and I asked what their opinion about trade with us would be and they did not seem opposed."

"That is indeed an interesting development. It would help our sect immensely if we were to start a trade relationship with the strongest cultivation sect of our generation," the sect leader replied and her smile became a bit thoughtful, "I would like to have someone send a letter on my behalf, since I'm rather occupied. Will you help me out with the names of the two gentlemen?"

"Yes, of course," the young man replied happily, "The sect leader goes by the name Yue Qingyuan. He is a rather calm man and very friendly, so negotiations with him should go smoothly. The Qing Jing peaklord's name is Shen Qingqiu. He-"

The sect leader held up her hand for a moment. It wasn't abnormal for her to react oddly to the surname 'Shen' and also not to ask strange question about the people carrying that surname.

"Say...that mister Shen, how did he look like," the sect leader asked.

The young man looked at her fingers unconciously tapping the table in a nervous rhythm. An image he was too used to.

"Uh...A rather good looking man. A bit thin, but I think that just his body type. His build is more on the feminine side actually," the young man replied, "Ah, yes. And he had an interesting eyecolor.  For the most part it's grey, but it goes slightly into a green shade."

The sect leader's hand on the table suddenly clenched into a fist, crunching up the papers underneath it. She had a scary look on her face, but he voice stayed as friendly as ever.

"You know what? Forget about the letter. I will personally speak to our new friends," she said, the tone on the word 'friends', becoming lower, making  it sound almost like a threat, "Tell me where they are right now."

The young man hesitated. He had a bad feeling about telling her. She was his sect leader, but she was behaving as if the men were her arch enemies and he was pretty sure that they had done nothing wrong.
