Chapter 10

Here was how the trainings would go.

Phase 1: Inosuke and Tanjiro get their bodies limber again by the three workers of the mansion as they would pull their limbs till the boys would cry out in pain, while Y/N had weights tied to his legs and had to run across the mansion with no breaks, to strengthen his legs and open his lungs even more.

Phase 2: Aoi or Kanao will sit on the other side of a table while one of them would sit on the other. There will be multiple cups of medical water present there, and the two will train their reflexes by trying to throw the water on the other. Meanwhile, Y/N will be blowing into his gourd, trying to break it, and would be given a bigger and stronger one, if he manages to break it.

Phase 3: Tanjiro and Inosuke would engage in a match of tag against Kanao and Aoi together, as Y/N would have to hold his breath for a given period of time. If he takes a breath, he would be hit in the guts by a bat, courtesy of the workers there.

Phase 4: This was only for Y/N as he would have to sit on a wooden plank placed on top of the tip of a spike, and meditate.

Needless to say, Shinobu wasn't showing any mercy to Y/N regarding his training.

By the end of two weeks, Y/N could maintain Total Concentration: Constant for a total of 8 hours. Nowhere near a day, but really progressed from two weeks ago, when he could maintain it for 2 hours.

At the end of these two weeks, Zenitsu had healed up well, and was to now join in on their training.

Y/N came back from his running, to see Zenitsu smiling and enjoying himself while the workers continued to torture him.

He looks at Aoi, and points a finger at Zenitsu.

Aoi: Don't even ask... Wait... You're a boy, right?

Y/N shrugs and nods.

Aoi: BEAT THAT PERVERT UP FOR US!

Y/N shakes his head.

Aoi: What do you mean no?! He's enjoying his training!

Y/N tilts his head.

Aoi: What's the problem?! The problem is that he's supposed to get better. Not become perverted!

Y/N nods.

Aoi: Please!

Y/N shakes his head, as Kanao tosses a coin in the air, which grasps Y/N's attention, as she walks up to him and whispers into his ears.

Kanao: This will help him get stronger.

Y/N furrows his eyebrows and looks at Kanao.

Kanao: This will make him strong, so he can protect the ones weaker than him.

Y/N looks at Aoi, who was looking at Kanae with a confused expression.

Aoi: *confused* Kanao, what are you-

Kanao puts a hand in front of her, indicating her to stop.

Kanao: *to Y/N* "The strong ones protect the weak, then the weak become strong and protect those weaker than them." Right?

Y/N: How did you...?

Kanao: Shinobu told me.

Y/N looks down as if he was thinking about something. He then looks at Aoi, and nods, as a grin comes up Aoi's face.

The workers step off of Zenitsu as he looks up.

Zenitsu: Huh? Why did you step off of me? Is it time for the next training already?

Aoi: Use Total Concentration!

Zenitsu: What do you-

He looks up as he sees Y/N towering over him.
