One thing that Y/N noticed, was that Aoi now constantly had a sly grin plastered on her face whenever she saw him. Whenever she saw him with Shinobu, to be precise.

Y/N gets down from his plank where he was meditating as he looks at Aoi.
Aoi: Shinobu~ What do you think of her~?

Y/N opens the letter and smiles.
Y/N: Kyou- Rengoku.
Aoi: I see. What does it say?
Y/N starts to read the letter.
"My dear boy Y/N,
Hope you are doing well. I've been getting proper food and sleep, thanks to the lovely people here. I've been on the hunt on the demon since a while, but till now, I'm afraid I haven't had much luck.
