Y/N rushes towards Muzan, as he cuts through the tendrils and goes to strike Muzan. The demon puts his arm up in defense, as it suddenly gets cut in two, and Y/N grabs the seperated hand and looks at Muzan.

He throws it away and starts to speak.

Y/N: Lives lost never return. They're gone, forever. The mortals can't recover, like the demons do. Why take their lives? Why step over life itself?

Muzan grits his teeth as his PTSD starts to kick in and he starts hallucinating.

Yoriichi: What's so fun about this? What's so funny about it?

A vicious flurry of attacks covers Muzan's line of sight for a second.

Yoriichi: What is life to you, exactly?

Y/N: Why won't you understand?

Yoriichi: How could you forget?

Another flurry of attacks covers his sight, as Muzan feels the back of his throat go dry.

Muzan: H-Heh... Even if you speak his words, you don't have what it takes to kill me, kid. I am the strongest! All those weaker than me should crumble before me! Beg to me to spare their pathetic lives! All that stands between me and greatness is you damned bunch of misfits and that Nezuko demon. Once I kill each of you and devour that girl, I will be unstoppable!

Y/N: I see. Hinokami Kagura!

He dashes at Muzan with a speed that Muzan was not able to follow, as Muzan suddenly saw his body standing at a distance from him and he saw Y/N holding his head by his hair.

Y/N: Sunflower Thrust!

Muzan starts to chuckle.

Muzan: Did you really think you could defeat me just like that?

The head in Y/N's hand disintegrates, but Muzan regenerates his head. Though, one thing was clear.

After Y/N struck Muzan with his now bright sword, the regeneration time had increased by a lot.

Y/N: I see...

He gets in another stance.

Y/N: Hinokami Kagura! Burning Bones, Summer Sun!

Y/N dashes at Muzan, taking the push to his advantage, as he now cuts Muzan's right arm completely.

Without wasting any time, he gets in another stance.

Y/N: Hinokami Kagura. Beneficial Radiance.

He jumps up in the air, as he starts to fall down and uses the momentum to cut through Muzan's tendrils and manages to cut his right arm with a deadly strike.

He gets to a distance again, as he readies his next move.

Muzan: Thats enough!

He sends all his tendrils at a blinding speed at Y/N, who starts to hack through the tendrils.

Y/N could clearly see the attacks, but to Tanjiro and Giyuu, Y/N was swinging his sword and Muzan was attacking him so fast that it seemed as if neither of the two even moved and the shockwaves of the attacks colliding filled the space between them.

Y/N's blood sweeps down his cut as his right shoulder gets stabbed, but Y/N continues his attacks against Muzan. The wound was starting to swell, as it soon turns into a blob covering his left eye.

Even when Tanjiro tried to follow the attacks by activating his demon slayer mark to heighten his abilities, he could only see glimpses of Y/N's sword cutting up Muzan's tendrils and the tendrils cutting and stabbing Y/N every now and then.
