The demon cells upon Y/N's torso disintegrate away, but through this whole time, Y/N had the kindest, sweetest smile on his face.

He closed his eyes, ready to greet his fath uper, mother, and brothers again...

He soon started to hear some voices.

???: Shi... Shinobu-sama... look...

A gasp is heard.

???2: Kakushis! Get here now!!!

Then, it all went blank for Y/N.

???3: Is he up?

???4: Looks like he is...

Y/N's eye flutters around, as a Prussian eye and a grey eye look ahead.

Y/N: Where... am I...?

We see that he had bandages all over his body, and multiple tubes of saline and blood connected to his arm, as he looks around and sees that two Kakushi were standing near him.

???: Y/N! YOU'RE AWAKE!!!

He feels himself be wrapped in a tight hug, as he looks to his side and sees Aoi hugging him tightly with one arm, while crying her eyes out.

Y/N: A... Aoi...? What's... going on...?

Aoi: You... you were in a coma for 3 months...

Y/N: Wait a second...

He moves a bit, but the pain makes him fall back.

Aoi: Don't move, idiot!

She still had tears in her eyes, as she put Y/N down forcefully.

Y/N: But... I was killed... by Muzan...

A green haired demon comes in.

Yushiro: That's what we initially thought as well, but...

He puts the tray he was carrying, as he pulls Y/N's shirt up to reveal a scar lying where Muzan had turned him into a donut.

Y/N: But... how?

Yushiro: I'm getting there. When you became a demon, the Yoriichi blood resisted, but due to you getting the entirety of Muzan's blood, they were overpowered.

He pulls Y/N's shirt back down as he checks the saline bag.

Yushiro: When the two blood types combined, they created a stronger, better version of each of them. Due to this, the wounds that you had incurred during your "final moments" against Muzan, were all regenerated.

Y/N: Well that's kinda obvious, don't you think?

Yushiro: *irritated* Will you let me explain or not?!

Y/N: *weakly* Sorry...

Yushiro: *sigh* Well, the regenerated cells weren't exactly Muzan's, but yours.

Y/N: *confused* Huh?

Yushiro: What I mean by that, is that during the time when you were a demon, the cells that would regenerate if you were to incur any injuries, would be yours. Not Muzan's, the Muzan cells were just protecting the weak flesh of yours. When the drug took affect, Muzan's cells disintegrated, yours didn't.

Y/N: So... I can regenerate now...?

Yushiro: Nope. The regeneration was only because you had demon cells within your body. Now that the cells are destroyed, you can't regenerate.
