"Wait let me get this straight- you seen her at the diner, y'all talked for a few minutes, she was drunk, and you brought her to your house? Bitch are y'all fucking around and you just don't want to admit it to us?" Alonzo asked sipping his mimosa
Angel rolled her eyes. She decided to have brunch with Alonzo and Zaire since it's been a minute and they just been in then house quarantine. Of course a lot of places were closed due to the pandemic so they were at Zo's house.
"What? No." She immediately shut down his question
"I just wasn't going to leave her there alone."
"So why you didn't just take her to her house?"
"And then drive all the way to my house? It was either my house or her car."
She definitely regretted saying that, that way.
Zaire raised her eyebrow
"We did not have sex." Angel said once again
They laughed
"Well it's been ten years... does she still look good?" Alonzo asked
Angel shrugged "She looks okay."
"Okay? Bitch okay? Are you serious?" Alonzo asked
Angel did not want to admit to them that Benji had an amazing glow up since high school but eventually they were going to find out.
"She looks good," Angel admitted
But Benji did look good. Her hair were in a up to date 2020 twists style, she had tattoos on her whole entire left arm while a few were on her right. She's gotten taller but not too much because Angel was always a little bit shorter.
And her voice.
Angel wasn't sure if it was the liquor that was in her system that made her talk with such base, the weather or that time that flew by but her talking voice wasn't the same any more.
"So what do this mean? Have y'all spoke about what happened? Do you want to talk about that with her?" Zaire asked
Angel shook her head "No, I don't."
"You should." Alonzo said making Zaire nod her head in agreement
"There's nothing to talk about. Whatever happened in college just happened."
Alonzo shook his head "No, don't you dare fucking say that."
Angel sighed "It matters but obviously it don't to her."
"Angel, you don't know that. You didn't even give her a chance to apologize or to even hear her out. You up and left that same night."
"We up and left." Angel corrected her
"Well I damn sure wasn't going to leave you there crying. You should know ya girl better then that."
