"Papa!" Benji called out

She leaned against the wall as she waited. A few seconds later, Braxton walked from around the corner fully dressed and ready the his backpack on his shoulder.

"I'm tired." He frowned making her chuckled

"It's almost Christmas break. Just one more day buddy."

"I know and I can't wait." He says, "It means break is almost here and then I'll have half a school year before I start high school."

She chuckled and nodded before rubbing his head, "Tell me about it. I don't think I'm ready for you to start high school yet. You're just getting so big papa."

"Are you going to call me papa forever?"

"You're not that tall and you still have a baby face..."

"I know but the ladies can't know my mom still calls me papa."

She raised an eyebrow "Wow man. You too good for my nicknames now?" She dramatically held her chest

He laughed shaking her head "Okay you can call me that but just not in front of the girls."

She laughed "Alright I got you man."

He nodded and she followed him outside of their home and walked to one of the three cars she owned.

Yes, their home.

It's been three years and a lot has happened.

After Brandi dropped Braxton off at her condo for the summer, she started to look for homes again.

Once she found one, she had eventually asked Brandi about her taking over full guardianship over Braxton. She wasn't the biggest fan of that idea but she soon came around and agreed.

Her first mind was made up on staying in New York but she changed her mind and decided to move to LA. It was where most of the artist she worked with stayed at and she felt like it was time for a new scenery for them.

So once school started back up that's what she did. She found the perfect home for them- and most importantly a big enough room space for Braxton.

His room was exactly how he wanted it.

She still kept in contact with her brothers. Dave was still in New York, he had opened up his own streetwear clothing store down in Harlem.
