(A/N: this will be a short chapter or whatever but I just wanted to update a lil something for y'all.)
"I could really smack the shit out of you right now, Angel." Autumn said laying a sleeping Noah down in his bassinet
Angel groaned before laying her head flat on Autumn's bed
"So now I'm not obligated to have my own opinion?"
"No, you're obligated to have that and your own decision whether you want this stay with Benji or not. But to basically try and make her choose between her child or you is crazy."
"I was not trying to make her choose between me or her child."
"Saying 'I need you too' while in argument about her saying she's going to have her ten year old son move in with her doesn't sound like a choose me type of response? Come on Angel, be for real."
"I said that but I didn't meant for it to come off like that."
"Yeah well I'm sure it did. Either way, you and I both know she was going to choose her son. Benji loves you but he's literally her child and no shade when I say this but unlike you, that little boy didn't have a choice on leaving Benji for ten years."
"I left for a reason." Angel said, "You know exactly why I ended things with Benji ten years ago."
"One, you didn't exactly officially end things. Two, you left for ten years but you could've always came back to her. Her son? He didn't have that. He doesn't even have his mom in his life. Why would Benji not step up?"
Angel sighed
Autumn was really tearing her ass up right now but she deserves it.
"I didn't expect her to not to."
"I didn't say you did." Autumn said
"I just don't want kids." Angel said
"Angel, you don't want kids because you can't have kids. You knew that getting bottom surgery meant you wouldn't be able to have any."
Angel nodded "I know that."
"But you also knew that Benji wanted kids. So, eventually a conversation about that was going to happen. And something with kids in the picture was going to happen whether it was surrogacy, adoption, etc. I guess what I'm trying to say is that, if you love Benji and want continue your relationship with her then that means building a relationship with her son because he's not going anywhere." Autumn said
"Don't you think I know that?"
"If you know that then why are you about to cry on my bed all guilty and shit?" She asked
Angel rolled her eyes
Autumn shrugged "I'll drop it for now but you need to talk to her."
"I will... eventually."
Autumn shook her head
"Are you going to Zo's birthday party later tonight?"
