"Can you go fix up the table for me please?" I asked Malakai
He nodded "Yeah I got it."
"What time is everyone supposed to show up?" I asked Alonzo
Today is thanksgiving and It's been a full week since I last seen Benji but we talked a few times throughout the week to check up on each other.
She was doing a little bit better. The pain was still there but day by day she was healing.
Alonzo decided last minute to have thanksgiving at his house and decided to invite everyone over which took me for surprise because he ain't talk to them in years except for his little run in with Benji at the studio that one day.
Of course everyone agreed which had me nervous about them coming over. I only felt that way because I knew Malakai wasn't the biggest fan of me working for Joey, no matter how many time I assured him that we are only friends.
And he still didn't know that Benji and I had squashed everything that happened between us. I just hoped the dinner goes by smoothly.
"The should be here any minute." Zo said
"Girl why do you look like you about to shit ya self?" Zaire asked
I rolled my eyes "No I don't."
Zo nodded "You do sis."
I huffed "I'm just nervous."
"For what? I thought things were good between you and Benji. That's why I didn't think it would be a problem."
"It's not a problem."
"Well what is it-
Zaire had cut him off "Wait- did something happen that day you went to her house? Did y'all fuck?"
I don't know what's up with them thinking I'm a easy ass thrower when it came to her but I wasn't. I can count my body count on one hand.
"No we didn't fuck. She's does give the best hugs though." I admitted
"Really? Thank you for telling me that because I'm definitely going to get one when she get here." Zaire crazy ass said
I shook my head at her foolishness "Anyways, I haven't told Kai about Benji and I rekindling our friendship."
"Oh." They both said
"Girl we ain't gonna mentioned anything to him." Zo said waving it off
"Yeah we got you. I'll try and put Benji on game too."
I thanked them before going to help Kai with the table.
Soon the front doorbell rung making my stomach turn in knots. I'm not even sure why.
I heard some familiar voices making me peep my out from the dining area and seeing Joey and Serayah. They all came in the room and greeted us.
