Angel fidgeted with her nails getting that same feeling in her stomach she had when she showed up to her condo three months ago.

Angel stood there as many emotions ran through her body. Nervous, guilt, hurt, and happy. She was happy to see Benji and that she didn't slam the door in her face. That was what she expected when she drove over to the hotel.

What's up?" Benji asked looking at Angel who stood in front of her

She was the last person Benji expected to see. Well at least not this soon. It's only been a month since their last conversation and it was something they both vividly remember.

A month long worth of space- Benji expected more time from Angel. She guess she was wrong but she wasn't complaining.

But she was going to hold her ground. She was still hurt.

"Honestly? I wanted to see you." Angel bluntly said

"I'm not sure what I thought I was going to say when I got here or seen you but here I am."

Benji stood there trying to keep her eyes to stop the blurry-ness.

"It gotta be something you want to say. I'm not falling for dat bullshit." Benji said getting slightly agitated on her bouncing around and playing games at this time at night

Well morning...

"What's up, ma? You good?"

"Uh y-yeah." She shook her head

"I shouldn't have came here starting confusion and things." Angel held on to her purse getting ready to turn down the hallway but stopped when Benji gently grabbed her arm

Angel stopped in her tracks looking up at Benji who wore the strangest look on her face. It definitely made her curious on what was going through her mind.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Angel asked softly

"I'm tryna figure you out, ma."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I've known you for ten years now and although we still got some of the same ways as did when were younger... you confuse me Angel. You show up here almost at three in da morning and you can't even tell me what you want. You want to talk? What? Let me know what's on ya mind mama."
