As I- Ella Fletcher- go through life, just trying to run away from my past. It all catches up With me, a rollercoaster of emotions and failure. But happiness and love.
I get in the car and drive to the Chelsea training ground, although this was exciting it felt like a criminal act. I park up and walk inside, cameras were filming up but I didn't mind. I saw Emma and she introduced me to a staff member called Jason. He showed me around the place and then I went for my medical.
I passed everything and now it was time to sign. I get a photo signing my contract. Then I get asked to do a little interview.
"How does it feel moving to a rival club?" An interviewer asks me
"It's always bittersweet moving clubs anyway, but I think moving to Chelsea is definitely a lot different. But I like it here, and I'm sure I'll love it soon."
"You know Niamh Charles quite well, do you think she will welcome you good?" He asks me
"Yeah me and Niamh played in the local team for a while and then instead of going to England I chose Brazil, so yeah I think she will be glad to see me and welcome me well"
"What was your goal, when you moved here? What are you wanting to aim for?" He asks me
"I think, moving to Chelsea is definitely going to show the better side in me. Football, is my life and passion and I think Chelsea is going to help to bring that side out even more, so I guess my goals is to be a better player and I think Chelsea will help me to do that"
"Thank you"
"Thanks" I say and leave the room.
I see Niamh and she runs up to me and gives me a hug. "Hey" I say "Nice colour blue, isn't it. Better than red" she says "We will see" I say She takes me to the changing rooms and all the girls introduce themselves to me. Sam suggests "we should go out tonight to celebrate our new teammate" "I don't think that's necessary" I say "Oh come on, we do it every time a new player joins" Niamh says "Okay, let me just message Leah" I say "Why, is Leah your girlfriend" guro says "Yeah she is actually" I say
Messages: Hey le, I'm going out with the Chelsea girls tonight, I'll hopefully see you before I go, but if not I won't be home late xx
I drive home and I get inside. I sit in the living room and post on instagram.
