Fresh start

Today is my first day arsenal, and the day it gets announced I've joined here. I get in the car with Leah and Mason. We get to Leah's dads and drop Mason off. We get to London Colney and see photographers everywhere. I was in my arsenal kit so they would know I was joining here. "Do you have my spare clothes in the car?" I ask
"A tracksuit I think" Leah says
"Quickly pass it, I'll put it over my clothes. And also drive back to your dads, let's make it look like we are just bringing mason in" I say
She passes the tracksuit which I put on and then get to Leah's dads. We explain the situation and then take Mason to London Colney. We get out, the cameras directed at us. Leah walks in and I get Mason out of his car seat. I walk in with him in my arms. I go to Jonas office. "Any chance Amy is in today?" I ask. Amy is Jonas daughter.
"Your in luck" he says
"Would she mind, masons here. We had no one to look after him" I say
"Yeah that's fine, pass him here I'll take him to her" Jonas says
"Thank you" I say

I go into the changing room and take the tracksuit off. Leah comes over. She kisses me. "What was that for?" I ask her
"Well it's your birthday soon, I was thinking we could do something special for it" Leah says
"Like what" I ask
"I don't know, maybe a party?" She suggests
"No, you know I'm not the party girl" I say
"Well let's just have the girls over, your turning 25 you old woman" Leah jokes
"Says you" I say

We go out and start training. Jonas comes over. "Ella can I talk to you" he asks
I go over to him. "We are going to announce you joining soon, we need to do a quick interview do you mind" he says
"Okay when is it?" I ask
"Come with me, your just going to be stood over there the girls training in the background" he says

I go over to the media team. The interview starts.

"We asked for questions off the fans for the girls, as they don't know about you coming now. First question, cats or dogs?" They ask me
"Dogs, I have one" I say
"What's your dog called?" They ask
"Bailey, he's a chocolate lab" I say
"Favourite thing about the team?" She asks
"Their passion for football, it's inspiring" I say
"What's your favourite thing to collect?" She asks
"I would say, trainers" I say
"What's your favourite pair" she asks
"The yellow air max 90 ones" I say
"When you signed here what we're your feelings" asks
"I mean here's my home, so it felt right" I say
Leah comes over and the media team give her a microphone. "When you found out about your wife coming back what was your reaction?" She asks
"It was the best feeling, like when she went to Chelsea it was always bittersweet, I was proud of her but I never wanted to go against her. Now I don't have too, and we can prank the teammates again now" Leah says
"What has been your best prank" the media asks
"My most recent one was me and Jonas pranked the girls the day they got told I was joining. So I would say that one was my best" I say
"I would say, before Mason was born I told the girls we got the gender wrong and it was a girl, so I asked them for name suggestions. They came up with some good names actually. But Beth was obviously in on it and came up with like a name that like no one liked, so I said we've decided to name her whatever the name was. When I told them it was a prank they all looked relieved" Leah explains
"I didn't know that" I say
"Ella, other than Leah who is your best friend on the team" she asks
"Don't worry I wasn't going to say Leah" I say and then start laughing as well as everyone else. "Nah I would say, Beth. Honestly, we got on so well. Same with Gio and rafa, but they are like my Brazilian best friends the people I travel with. Beth, yeah I can tell her everything" I add
"Fanta or coke?" She asks
"Neither, I don't drink anything other than apple juice or water" I say laughing
"How do you like your toast toasted" she asks
"Like lightly toasted but enough, Leah burns hers and eats it like a normal person it's so weird" I say
She looks at me and says "sorry miss perfect"
I laugh at her.

"Would you ever have another child?" She asks
"Yeah, for sure" I say
"What do you want to do after you retire?" She asks
"Coaching" I say
"Did you go to college?" She asks
"Yeah I did, I studied biology, btec pe and sports science, so if I go to uni I could become a physiotherapist" I explain
"Was that your back up plan" she asks
"Yeah" I say
