I've been in the hospital room for an hour now. A nurse walks in "so from your tests it shows your blood is really thin, so we need to make it slightly more thicker. This is quite unusual. But have you just had a baby?" She asks "Yeah" I reply. Leah grabs my hand. "This could be why, sometimes it can happen" she says I nod my head and she says "we have to give you an injection which makes the blood get to its usual consistency" I nod my head and look at Leah. She puts the injection in my arm.
"We want to take you into an X-ray as well. Because when this happens there's always another issue somewhere else. Is that okay?" The nurse asks "Yeah that's fine" I reply. I hadn't thrown up since I got here, I threw up a lot in the ambulance but maybe once or twice in the hospital.
They take me to the X-ray room. "Just lie on the table/seat. There will be a light but nothing that's going to blind you. It's just so see inside your body. So we will leave the room and it will happen" the X-ray person says to me.
He leaves and the X-ray happens. I get taken back to the ward. I get back on the bed. "We will get back to you once they've gone over the X-ray" the nurse says
She leaves and it was just me and Leah. "Can you tell my mam for me le" I say to her. "Yeah" she says. She leaves and calls her.
I play with the rings on my finger, I see Gio and Teyah come in.
"Hi, any better?" Gio asks me "Not really, I've had an X-ray to see if anything is wrong" I say "Masons fine by the way, we phoned Beth. She said he's had his milk and he's been sleeping now they're cuddling watching paw patrol" Teyah says

"He's so cute" I say "He really is" Gio says
Leah comes back "your mam knows, she's worried about you el" Leah says "I know she will be. Masons okay" I say
30 minutes later the nurse comes in. "I have some news to tell you. So can everyone leave and I can tell you" she says Everyone leaves and I can see them through the glass, but they can't see in.
"This will be hard to hear" she says "What's wrong with me" I ask "Your going to have to have surgery, either today or tomorrow" she continues. "Why" I ask "Your gallstones are causing problems, they cause sudden episodes of severe tummy pains. Which is something you suffered with. However there's a separate issue for throwing up blood" she says "Why am I throwing up blood then?" I ask "You have severe inflammation in your stomach lining also known as gastritis. When your throwing up the blood it's because the inflammation has damaged an underlying artery, which is also known as a blood vessel" she says "So how do you fix that?" I ask "Treatments include antacids, alginates and antibiotics" she says "However it's not a serious serious issue, it's just causing you a lot of pain. So it will improve quickly with treatment" she says
"And the surgery?" I ask "With the surgery we can't give you any treatments until you have it. Your blood has thickened so it's back to normal, therefore no being sick hopefully, I can get you some antibiotics for your gastritis and then we can hopefully tell you a time for your surgery" she says "Okay" I reply. She leaves and everyone comes back in.
Leah grabs my hand "I've got gastritis, that's treated with an antibiotics then surgery to remove my gallstones" I say
After another hour, Gio says "me and Teyah are going to go. We will be back tomorrow" "Bye guys" I say They leave and Leah sits back down. "You can go as well you know" I say to her "I don't want to no matter what I will be here" she replies I see someone walk past the glass they come in.
"It's me, Lauryn" she says "What you doing here, you play in Ireland" I say. "Katie told me" she replies "I think it's better if you go. I don't know why Katie told you this" I say "Because I still care about you" she replies "We broke up 3 years ago, my wife is here, I have a son" I say "Le, can you get my phone" I say She passes me my phone, I phone Katie.
She answers "what are you thinking. Why did you tell Lauryn?" I ask "I'm sorry, she was worried about you, why what's she done?" Katie asks "She's in my hospital room. Leah's here" I say "What ward you on?" Katie asks "I'm ward 41 room 8" i say "I'll be there" she says
The call ends.
"Leah can you leave us alone for a sec" I say "You sure" she says "Yeah, please" I say She leaves but she didn't look happy about it. Lauryn comes forward "don't move" I say "Why would you do this to yourself? I'm so annoyed! You know I'm in a relationship so please just go away" I shout "Now look, Leah is annoyed at me. Because of you, she probably thinks I've been cheating on her. What the fuck Lauryn" I shout "I didn't intend for this to happen, I'm concerned about you" she replies calmly "What that concerned you come from Ireland? How did you even get a flight? Actually I don't want to know, I don't care. Because the only person I care about is Leah" I shout Katie runs in. "Lauryn I think it's better if we go" she says Leah follows in. "But she doesn't get it" Lauryn says I sit up and say "then explain it"
"You think you could just walk away from me. You never told me we had broken up" she says "Yes I did. When you came to mine after you decided to sleep with someone else. I told you it was over" I say "But you let Leah back in. Or did you. Do you seriously think she doesn't still see Jordan?" Lauryn shouts "Me and Leah got over it. We didn't. You took it too far" I say "Please laur, let's go" Katie says "Explain it. What did I do wrong!" Lauryn shouts
"You made me feel shit about myself. All the time. When you came back from sleeping with the first girl you told me how good it was. I tried breaking up with you but you wouldn't let me. Then you would proceed to have sex with me. I never wanted to. The second girl you did the same. And the third, the fourth and the fifth. You would constantly kiss me, you didn't love me. You didn't care. You used me like some sex toy and that's all I was. All I was worth. But when Covid hit you had to go back to Ireland, I felt safer then Leah moved in along with Beau. She's different" I explain, Katie and Leah looked in shock.
"Are you insane!" Katie shouts at her
"You fucking cheated Lauryn. Your so much better than that, and sexually assaulted someone she didn't give you permission to do that, what is wrong with you" Katie shouts at her
"You set me up with her" Lauryn pleads to Katie
"Who else have you been seeing" Katie asks her gently
"I dated Mary fowler" she says
"Did you do the same to her" Katie asks
She doesn't answer. "Your not my sister. I'm-" Katie says "I don't even have words for you. I'm telling mum, she can deal with you. Your the kind of people to give us all a bad name" katie says
The nurse comes in "hi, ready for surgery" "Yeah" I say

I just got back to football after having my surgery. Leah was at training and I was at home with Mason. He started to get more comfortable and clingy as he grew older, I feed him some milk. My phone starts ringing "hello" I say as I continue feeding Mason.
"Look, I know you don't want to leave Chelsea but I want you here at arsenal, you can really help us" Jonas says
"I agree, what do I need to do" I ask
"Wow, that's fantastic. Can you come down today, do you have someone to look after mason. I would prefer if we could surprise the girls" he says
"I'm sure I can ask one of my Chelsea teammates to look after him" I say
