Rory's POV:

After a three hour drive to Chicago, and a 2 and a half hour plane ride of baby's screaming, and lots of turbulence, I have finally arrived in Boston.

The last two weeks had been the worst. Caitlin wouldn't even look at me. Neither would any of her friends. Basically the only two friends that I had on the team at the moment were Gabbie and McKenna.

Luckily, I was in Boston where I could let all of that go.

As soon as I walk out, I see Jaime pull up and get out of the of the car.

Immediately, I run up to him and embrace him in a hug.

"Iv'e missed you so much!!"

"Aww, I've missed you so much too, Rory!"

Jaime is the only person in my family that really gets me. He is the only one that really understands me, and fully supports everything that I do.

As we are in the car, of course we start talking.

"So what have you been up to?"

"Not a ton. I am just happy to be out of Iowa."

"Yeah. I get that. Sorry again for what happened with you and Caitlin."

"It's fine. It's not your fault. It just feels like everyone on the basketball team hates my guts, you know?"

"Who could ever hate you?"

"I don't know. Anyways new topic. What is going on with the family?"

"Not good. Darry is just his normal self. And Connie is good. And of course, ugh Mr.Model is being just UGH. But anyway, the real person who has changed is Soda. Like he is just like Darry. Overprotective and snobby."

My heart drops. I knew it might happen, but I really happened it wouldn't.

"Well, I mean I would like to say that I didn't see it coming. But them living together probably is what did it."

"Yeah I guess, your probably right."

As we pull into our super long driveway, the memories just keep flooding my brain. It has only been a couple of months since I have been living here, but at the same time it feels like decades.

"You okay?" He asks me

"Yeah. I'm fine. It's just weird to be back."

"I get that."

Jaime and I had always been bossed around growing up. We were on the younger side of our family, except for Conrad, but Conrad always just did whatever he wanted to.

As we are walking up to our huge glass doors, a wave of nostalgia, again fills my brain. Leaving this place, coming back, it's just weird.

"Hey, Rory!"

"Sup Connie"

"Not a lot at the moment. But when am I going to be able to come watch you play a game? You really slapped them with the first game."

"You can come anytime that you want!"

"Okay, sick."

"Where are Darry Adrien and  Soda?"

"They are in the kitchen. We have to have a 'family' dinner." Conrad whispers to me

As I walk into the kitchen, I can see them. The three of them. The people who took care of me, but also the people who ruined me.

"Hey guys!"

"Oh, hey Rory. What's up?"

"Not a ton what's up with ya'll?"
