"Rory, are you sure your okay?" Molly asks, as I finish curling her hair
"Yeah." I say still curling her hair
"You're not mad?" She asks
"No, why would I be?" I say, trying to stay innocent
"What Caitlin did was pretty shitty, Rory. It's okay to be mad."
"I know, but I just don't want to be mad. I just want to have a fun night with my best friend!"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, Molly! I've dragged you to enough stupid things, that I should be able to go to the party with you." I say
"Okay, you look so pretty, Rory."
"Thanks, Molly! You too!!" I say, finishing curling her hair
To be honest, I really didn't even want to go to the party. I had texted Caitlin to let her know that I had made it to my apartment okay, but besides that I had been trying to ignore her all day.
