MAYA' POV :

Yesterday was such a hectic day.

Going to meet Mr.aaryan as a boss(abhijeet's dad) was a good idea but meeting abhijeet's mom was just too awkward.

Arsh is walking with me.
I wish to tell everything to him actually , but i cannot.
What will i even tell him?

That i am an assassin who kills for money?

No no no
Not happening.

Though , if i call him my dearest friend then he should know worst sides of me.
But at the same time....i don't want to tell him cause I'll ruin my image.

Technically , not telling him the truth is not a good idea.
He should know this.
Shall i tell him now?

No , if i do , he'll have a lot many questions arising in his mind for which we both won't have much time.
We are going to college afterall.

He told me that sabrina is quite interested in him.

Which was unexpected and expected at the same time.
I mean ofcourse he looks good and has some hobbies which are considered manly. Every girl likes such guys.

"Let's hangout after college" , arsh said.

I nodded. "Come to my college gate after your college and I'll meet you there" , i said.

"Done" , we bumped our fists and parted ways.

I met ruha on my way to the college.
We talked about some casual stuffs.

We both were at the 2nd floor , still climbing the stairs.

And ohh---
They are the ones from student council.

They are....ehh??
Why are they so happy after looking at me ?
Why are they even looking at me like that?

They all came towards me and ruha.
A girl in them said , "Abhijeet finally confessed to you so i guess we don't have to pretend anymore". She raised her hand forward for a handshake.

I did the same.
"Juilee" , she said.
"Unique name" , i complimented.

"Introduce us too" , another girl said to juilee.
"Yeah yeah hold up , chill a little" , juilee replied.

What did she mean when she said we don't have to pretend anymore??

Can they be more clear??

Juilee pointed a girl out , saying , "She's zuhi "

"Juhi?" , I said cause i am totally confused with her name.
First time hearing it.
"Zuhi starting with z" , zuhi said and continued , "not many people pronounce it correctly though" , she sighed.

I nodded.
That's understandable.

Another guy started his self introduction.
"I am vedant , 3rd year ...but not in abhijeet's class" he said.
Ruha interrupted and said , "he's in different division".

"I get it" , i confirmed.

There is one more girl here.
Standing with us.
She is too quite.
Zuhi noticed that i am looking at that girl.
"She is ishaani .. from 4th year" , zuhi told me.

I see.
I nodded in response.

Juilee is too excited here.
"Finally , are the introductions done now?" , Juilee said and looked all over.

"YOU KNOWWWWWWW , ABHIJEET LOVED YOU THE MOMENT HE SAW YOU AND YOU WON'T BELIEVE ME BUT!!!!
HE HAS STALKED YOU SO MUCH. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH WE ALL HAVE HEARD ABOUT YOU" , juilee said.

Yupppp... definitely too excited.

I just smiled in response.

"Also , we never hated you." , Vedant said.
He smacked his lips , "He asked us not to talk to you" , he said.

"We have held us back for so long... abhijeet literally ordered us to not talk to you" , zuhi said.

Why though?
What am i ? A criminal?
Well technically yes.

"Why though?" , I asked back.
"Sorry but he had to test you a little , so he did" , ruha told me.

Ooh , so that's how it was.
Ok but who the fuck is he to test me?

I never intend to talk to so many people anyways.

"Okkkkkk i guess?" , I said cause i have no idea how to respond to this.

"Sorry about that" , ishaani said.

"It's ok" , i said and continued , "not your fault , you were just being a good friend and that's good".

"We should go ahead guys , or we'll all be late" , ruha said.

Everyone agreed.

3rd floor is here.

"So you already met everyone?" , A voice asked.
I turned.
It's the rich kids.

"Just did" , i said.

"You are looking exclusive today" , ajinkya said.

What's with that?

"Don't know why your vocabulary is sick today but thankyou" , i responded.

I replied to him as he complimented me.

"Well---" , abhijeet started saying something.

I don't want to stay here even for a second.

I ignored him and headed directly to my class.

I can feel everyone's eyes on me.

I understand that i am being rude but ---it's for aaron's sake.
It would be better for him to not get involved with me.

Even after being more than 1 meter away from them i can hear adhit saying , "she definitely will keep rejecting you" .

Which is correct.

"No she won't" , their voice is fading.

"Why not?---"
The voice faded even more.

The moment i entered my class , everyone was looking at me like i am some kind of alien.
Don't be like that.

I already have social anxiety.
They are making it worse.

Keep calm and sit maya.

Adhit came in the class and sat down.
We always sit side by side.

We never talk much but i guess we both introverted people get along quite well even when we aren't communicating.
