The sun was gone.

The sky was just. . .gray.

You sighed.

Everyone was just sort of milling about, no one looking very happy. Everyone looked anxious, worried, scared, bored, or all of the above. You were sitting on one of the many stumps that formed a circle, and was often used for gatherings.

Everything seemed bland.

The sky was gray, all the plants looked dull, all the people looked miserable.

You leaned your head on one of your hands.

You were scared and worried about the sky, but couldn't do anything about it.

You were anxious and uptight, but couldn't do anything about it.

You heard footsteps, and turned to see Minho.

He had been in the maze all day. Normally, you could deal with it, but not today. Without saying a word, Minho sat down, but then he turned to look at you. He must have seen your sapped expression.

"Hey (Y/N). You alright?"

You shrugged

"I guess. I'm just kind of. . .you know."

Minho smirked

"I'm going to go ahead and pretend what 'you know' means."

You joking shoved Minho. After a few minutes, Minho put his hand on yours.

"Are you really okay?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Just out of it I guess."

Minho nodded.

"There's a lot of that going around today."

"I see you don't have it."

Minho laughed

"Maybe I'm immune."

You sighed

"I wish there was a cure for it."

Minho grinned, but stayed silent. All the other gladers were sitting, standing, or slumped on trees in various places, but most were around the same area as you. You sat in silence for a few minutes, before Minho started humming. You didn't really notice it, and didn't really think anything of it. Until Minho stood up. He had been sitting, before carefully, and deliberately standing up to make sure you noticed.

"Where it began, I can't begin to knowing. . ."

You just ignored it, not knowing what he was doing.

"But then I know it's growing strong. . ."

You looked up, confused.

"Was in the spring, then spring became a summer. . ."

You realized with horror what he was doing. He was singing.

"Who'd have believed you'd come along?"

He was giving you that adorable 'I'm amazing right?' look.

"Hands, touching hands. . ."

You bury your face in your hands, blushing furiously

"Reaching out. . . Touching me. . .touching you. . ."

He was increasing in volume now, and he pulled you up onto the middle of the stump circle, while saying the next line

"Sweet (Y/N) bun bun bun!"

He was spinning you around now, all while singing.

"Good times never seemed so good!"

Some of the other glader had stood up, and joined Minho in the next line

"So good! So good! So good!"

You and Minho were dancing, mostly him spinning you, but he would occasionally swoop you into a slow dance.

"I've been inclined, bun, bun bun!"

You were smiling through the hundred different layers of blushing.

"To believe they never would, but now I'm. . ."

Someone had started hitting a rock in a sort of rhythm, and almost all the gladers were up now, singing. Minho managed to withhold from spinning you while he sang the next verse. That could not be said for the corus.

"Warm. . ."

Minho's face was getting closer to yours

"Touching warm. . ."

You knew your whole face must be red.

"Reaching out. . ."

If you moved your face one centimeter, it would touch his.

"Touching me. . ."

He had that adorable, romantic look on his face.

"Touching you. . ."

Right when you were absolutely sure he was about to lean in and kiss you, he pulled back, spinning you around yet again

"Sweet (Y/N)!"

Minho let the others take away the next part.

"Bun bun bun! Good times never seemed so good! So good! So good!"

Minho pulled you into another spin as the crowd finished the song.

"I've been inclined, bun bun bun! To believe they never would. . ."

Minho dipped you, your faces only inches apart, as he said the last line in a low voice.

"Oh, no, no."

He pressed his lips to yours, as the crowd applauded. When you pulled away Minho started to bow over and over again.

"Thank you, thank you."

You were standing there blushing, when Minho scooped you into his arms.

"And (Y/N)!"

The crowd erupted into even louder cheers as you covered your face with your hands. Minho started to walk away, still carrying you bridal style. The others had started to mill off, with slightly happier looks on their faces. Minho set you down on the stump you had been occupying only minutes ago, then sat down next to you, and turned to you with a completely serious look on his face.

"Now, what were we talking about?"

You wrapped your arms around him.

"Just about how much I love you."

We needed a shucking sun in the sky when you had Minho here on the ground?

He was bright enough to light up your whole world.
