Tw for plane crashes, and blacking out. And- what's this? A one shot made by me that doesn't involve a charcter dy!ng? Unheard of, and yet, this one involves no de@th.

Hold on.

That's what Thomas had told you as you were strapped into the zipline.

"Hold on."

You smiled as the instructor clipped the harness around you.

"I know."

And then the instructor moved on to Thomas.

The zipline was almost like a bench, two harnesses next to each other.

That was the one Thomas had picked, insisting that he be close to you.

Hold on.

And you were both finally buckled.

Your heart filled with excited butterflies as the instructor moved to push you off, onto the zipline that stretched above the forest.

Thomas had decided to take you on a trip.

And it was amazing.

You took in the trees that you would soon be above, took in the lush greens of the leaves and browns of the trunks.

The instructor smiled at the both of you.

"You guys ready?"

Your smile widened.

"You know we are!"

The instructor's hands hovered over the lever that would let go of the harness, sending you down the zipline.

"Alright. 3. . .2. . .1!"

In the split second before you were pushed out into the open air, you looked at Thomas, who smiled back at you.

"Hold on!"

And before you knew it you were out in the open sunset air.

The wind whipped at your hair as you hurtled across the zipline, your heart in your throat.

Somehow, in the pounding of your heart and breathless lungs, you managed to grab Thomas's hand.

Hold on.

You smiled at Thomas as you went through the sky together.

He smiled back.

"Thomas!"

"Thomas, please!"

Hold on!

"Thomas, you need to hold on!"

"Thomas!"

"Thomas just hold on for a little bit longer, okay?"
