At first she did not want to listen to Ava. At first she wanted to go and forget everything she said, but something in her gut told her to stay put.
And so she waited there, outside, hidden by all eyes, pressed close to a huge container, but able to see through the shiny glass doors.
It got darker and darker outside while the inside of the store still gleamed with light.

She watched Ava, who glared at her through the glass, winking mischievously before grabbing her phone and calling someone.
Not much later, a car parked on the parking lot.
Raindrops fell to the ground but she could not hear them for as the blood rushed in her ears louder than the waves.
It was Rafe. She would've recognized him miles away. Even in the pitch black.
She knew how he moved, how his footsteps sounded on the concrete, how he casually walked.
And that was her Rafe, holding an umbrella and walking up to the door of the store.
The rain poured down badly, drenching Aresu completely. Her cloth stuck to her skin but she refused to move. Her eyes were still fixated on the persons that met at the front door.
As the door opened, a little bell rang happily, welcoming new shoppers.
The bell sounded like a funeral to Aresu.
Her lip quivered as hot tears streamed down her face.

(Song: Ashes~ Madi Diaz) -> normally I'd use that song with sexual scenes but the heartbreak fits perfectly too

How could that be real?
How could she?
How... how devilish can someone be?
Was she Rafe's affair?
No— was Aresu the affair all along?
Simply a distraction, a filler, a fucking lie?
Her world came crashing down.
Rafe came up to Ava and they hugged, intime, closely, caring.
Ava laid her head on his shoulder, her pretty face softened and her lips moving silently.
Aresu could not hear what they were saying, but she did not need to.
It was crystal clear.
Ava's hands moved up closer, their faces inches apart.
Rafe's hands laid on her hips, muscles tense, lips curled inward.
And then many things happened all at once.
Their lips touched softly, the kiss fastly deepening, tongues sliding together.
Ava side-eyed Grisu through the pane, smiled during their kiss and touched Rafe's hair passionately.
And Aresu's heart shattered on the floor while she gasped.
Rage seemed stiff, not fully going with the flow but he did not pull back.
He let it happen.
He let it happen.
He let it happen.
She felt sick to her stomach, wanting to immediately puke on the floor.
She wanted to run away, wanted to flee. But she was stuck, watching them kiss, watching them silently while tears ran down her cheeks.
The rain poured down harshly, making her drown in the pain she currently felt.
What's left?

Continue listening to the song and imagine it somehow like that: cold, blueish and dark outside and warm inside.
You stand alone and you wait while watching the warmth inside and between those two. You can't speak, nor move forward. You are stuck. Stuck watching the light surround them while you stand there excluded, alone and sad.

Ava is looking at you like that while kissing Rafe, before her lips twitch up into a devilish smile
