(Song: AVA ~ Natalie Jane)
With shivering hands she pulled up her phone.
Firstly she texted JJ.
She did not know why. Maybe it was anger, maybe she just wanted not to be left out.
If Rafe could do it, couldn't she as well?

Please pick me up.

And then she called Rafe. Her trembling phone pressed against her wet cheek.
It dialed. Once. Twice.
She saw Rafe fumbling with his phone and visibly jerking when he read who called him right now.
That's right, feel bad, Grisu thought.
Her mind running completely dark.
Anger spilling over like boiling water.
"Hey," she heard Rafe's voice through the phone.
"Hey," she answered, voice cold and distant.
"Where are you?" She added bitterly.
"I'm currently out. Seeking shelter from the rain."
"Don't you have an umbrella?"
"No. Silly me."
Lie.
"Can you come to my place now?" Aresu asked, voice trembling.
"Not right now, love. I'm kinda stuck. I'll back by your place by nine, Kay?"
"..."
"I'm sorry, Grisu."
"You say that a lot."
"I feel it a lot."
"You should."
"What do you mean, Grisu. What's wrong?"
"I'm just cold, Rafe." Her voice had a devilish undertone.
While Rafe had not see her, Grisu could very well see him. She was facing him, seeing the warmth of the light surrounding him, while the darkness crept up around her.
"Why, are you outside? Shall I pick you up later?"
"No. Not you."
"What do you mean?"
"Who are you with?"
"I'm alone."
Lie.
"Liar."
"What?" His voice seemed to tremble now.
"You know very well what I mean, Rafe."
Aresu had stopped shivering.
Her entire world went pitch black. She wanted revenge and she would get it.
"I beg you pardon, love."
"Then beg."
"I don't know what you mean. Please talk to me."
"Am I not talking? Isn't it obvious, Rafe?"
"What's obvious?"
"Hey, Ava. I hope you guys had fun.
I see you. I see through your lies. I'm done with it." Her voice was as sharp as daggers and as cold as ice. Rafe looked around frantically.
Her lips moved upward when a car drove over the parking lot.
JJ.
Her revenge was on the way.
"Wha—" and then Rafe had seen her, their eyes locking though the glass.
And Rafe went utterly still, phone dropping in his hand, eyes watering.
Cold on one side, warm on the other.
"No... it isn't.. Grisu wait!" Rafe's facial expression looked horrible. He looked utterly afraid when she hung up their call.
His whole body shook with fear as he sprinted to the door, leaving Ava behind, who had casually listened to their whole discussion while leaning on a shelf.
"Aresu! Wait!" The bell once again rung, announcing the door being opened.
"Grisu!" Rafe screamed, jumping down the tiny stairs and running through the rain, but Aresu was already on the way to the car, not once looking behind.
JJ got out of the car, walking up to her carefully.
And Aresu made a huge mistake.

She leaned forward to JJ, touched his neck, bent forward and laid her lips on his, locking their mouths, playing with his tongue.
Their touch was intensive, their kiss rough, their movements uncoordinated.
But Aresu did not stop here, she laid her hands on his breast, just like Rafe had done with Ava.
Her hands travelled up and down, his hands gripped her waist, the rain pouring hardly on them while Rafe stood there, spaced out, shocked, still.
Stuck.
Just like Grisu had before.

And while JJ had his eyes closed, Aresu watched Rafe.
But the satisfaction she had searched was nowhere to be found.
Emptiness filled her inside. Emptiness no kiss, nor revenge could fill.
Her heart still laid behind that corner, shattered and broken.
