(Song: Cornfield chase~ Hans Zimmermann)
They ran over the fields, fabric blowing up like sails, flowing in the air like waves.
Limbs stretching and clumsily landing after jumping up high to reach the clouds.
The ears of corn flew in the wind, the blades of grass shined golden green and vividly in the morning light.
A laughter filled the silence.
A wind blew it across the field.
Flowers stretched high to reach the sky, their colors blooming with love and life.
And as their fingers touched, they were bound in love.
Running over the field was the closest they got to what they called freedom.
She wore a light dress, sprinkled with tiny blue flowers, hair open and puffy like a red cloud.
And as they stood under the willow and carved their names into its flesh, their lips embracing the others kindness, they smiled as sweet as the cherries that bloomed on the trees that surrounded the huge field they rested on.
The wind kissed their heated hearts.
The flying leafs searched shelter in her hair, nestling there, resting, waiting for the next action that would take place shortly.
Aresu bared her teeth in the next smile, crossed her fingers with his and planted a shy kiss onto his soft lips.
Heat climbed up higher, even though they were standing in the shadow of this huge tree.
"There is nothing standing between you and me. And I will find and love you in every lifetime that has yet to begin," he said softly.
"I hope you do."
"Just like the moon—though—half of my heart will always be dark."
"Then let it be. I'll be the candle that lights that darkness...Just a little bit. I love the darkness your surrounded by. And see? It's all sunny now."
As they danced to their own song, the sun crept up higher, enlightening the yellowish field in a gold light, and making their eyes glisten with joy. They took seat on the white linen they brought with them, ate watermelon (of course watermelon for as you love it so much akleoo )
strawberries and self made sandwiches. It was very calm and silent, just surrounded by the buzzing sound of the bumblebees and ears of corn blowing slightly in the wind.
Grisu wore a big hat, reading her book in silence while Rafe laid beside her, head rested in her lap, sleeping calmly. His cheeks were pressed tightly against her dress, creating his chubby appearance, while his long eyelashes looked like feathers when Grisu observed them from above.
Her book reflected the same mood, reflected the same romantic, lovable silence that they experienced just now.
And it was perfect.
Perfect in its own cliché, summer, lovingly silence.Continue to listen to the song and imagine:
Aresu is sitting on the linen, book in her hand, huge hat on her head. The golden light fills the silence and Rafe is sleeping peacefully on her lap.Half an hour later, Rafe woke up, groggily from sleep, eyes half-lidded.
He pulled himself up slightly to look into her beautiful face.
The sun was shining brightly on the couple but it wasn't too hot, actually it was just beautifully warm.
"Good morning sunshine," Grisu said, closing her book silently.
And he thought to be awakened by an angel.
He smiled, raised his hand and cupped her cheek.
"Morning, beautiful," Rafe answered.
