Everything is going to be perfect... isn't it?
How can you mess up twice?
Well, Rafe Cameron can.
But how much patience does Aresu have? Especially when her life seems to get more and more complicated on its own...
This story is once again for you...
She sat at the kitchen table, a spoon full of milk and cereal in her hand, raised up and slightly touching her parted lips. But there it stayed, unmoved, paralyzed, as if frozen in time. Exept for the fact that time around her seemed normal. Her mom made noises while cleaning up, Rafe actually ate and her siblings stumbled upon each other soundly. She herself was frozen. In her thoughts...
What could possibly go wrong? She hadn't talked with JJ yet, neither had she called out to him in any way. She had ignored him. Like a complete, arsehole behavior of ignoring, like the full package of it: not picking up calls, turning around when seeing him, not waving back, refuse to go anywhere where he could be and on top of that she refused to even speak of him. The topic JJ was a taboo, an unspoken rule. Well... not anymore it seems, today they'd see each other again, in College. They had the same courses. Fuck it... fuck her and her luck... A few month earlier she would've jumped out of happiness at the thought of having the same lessons with friends. Now she got involuntarily jumpy at that thought. And it was a negative-jumpy-way.
The spoon tilted slightly, letting the milk drop down into the bowl again and creating a little splash sound at it. "-su." "-isu." She tiled her head, set the spoon down into the bowl and looked at her boyfriend. He was talking... whoops. "Grisu? You fine? Snap out of it please." She shook her head for a second. Wow that was scary. " 'm fine don't worry. Just lost in my thoughts." "You don't have to worry about JJ, alright?" Wow, why was he als ways so good at reading her thoughts... "It's not about—" she wanted to say, but drifted off when seeing him raising his brows. She sighed and laid her head into her hands. "I don't know. It's complicated. I'm just being dramatic over nothing." "It's not «nothing», but it'll be fine. Just talk to him." "But I'm not even sure what I expect him to say!" She exclaimed and pushed the cereal into small circles. "First of all: eat. It'll get smushy and all." "Kay..."

The yellow cabriolet glimmered in the sun, reflecting it. "Want to make it obvious that we are a thing?" Aresu said and took place next to him. "Obviously, baby. Want to show them all that you're mine. And mine only." Grisu smiled and watched him placing the sunglasses on his nose. Music blasted out of the boxes and made her seat vibrate. As they drove, the wind blew her hair around and it stood up like a red cloud. Rafe laughed and casually swung his arm out the open window. And there it laid, revealing his tight muscles under the white T-shirt he wore. Aresu gulped, smiled proudly and looked back onto the street. He bent forward to her, the sunglasses low on his nose, so he could fixate her with his blue eyes. "Do you like what you see?" He teased her and she tightened her eyebrows as if she had to think about that very carefully. "Hm... do I?" Rafe laughed, threw his head in his neck and his hollow laughter filled their surroundings. The grey street glimmered in the sun while the lush flowers, trees and fields began to blur in a whirlwind of colors and speed. "I'm so so proud to be your boyfriend, Grisu. Damn I wish we had more classes together," he pouted sadly and his fingers tapped on the wheel. "I'm proud, too...you know. You're a wonderful person." After their last fight Grisu had doubted that fact the most, though now it felt like the most honest thing ever. "And yea. Most of my classes are shared with whom I don't want to see the most." "Don't worry. Just talk after class with him if you feel up to it." "Mn." "Come on, be happy. It's a new beginning! We'll arrive shortly." Grisu sighed, tried to get rid of that nagging feeling inside of her and began to smile. And it was a real smile.

"New beginnings, love! It'll be great, trust me!" He said, laying his arm around her shoulder and started walking with her into the campus.
