Jayde was nervous about meeting Julian's family, but she felt like she would get along with them. They talked all night long the day before the party. Julian gave Jayde a run down on his immediate family; naming each and every one of them and how close he were to them.

After Jayde did her normal hygiene routine , she slipped on a pair of blue jean shorts , a pink tank top and paired it with her Gucci 'GG Bloom Supreme' slides and her Gucci 'GG Crystal Mini Shoulder Bag' to match. She had a dainty necklace that had her son's name on it with matching earrings, bracelets and rings. She also added her toes rings and anklets on both ankles to complete the aesthetic. Her hair was styled in a middle part , silky and straight.

Arriving to Julian mother's house to no time because she stayed at least thirty minutes away.
"You look sexy as fuck. I might say fuck this party and take you back home." Julian complimented, admiring the outfit she had on.

She playfully rolled her eyes , "Well too bad you can't cause we're already here."

They both walked hand in hand into the backyard where everyone was. Before I Let Go by  Maze blasted through the speakers as some of the older people stood together dancing and laughing with their wine coolers in their hands. Kids ran around the backyard chasing one another. There were older men playing cards at a fold up table and a few teenagers sitting at the table on the patio, scrolling through their phones. So far , Jayde felt okay. Julian was glad that he smoked his blunt before coming here because he knew his aunts and uncles would be asking to hit it if he smoked there— plus his mom didn't like when he smoked.

Jayde saw Uncle Bee as he approached the two to greet them. "Wassup y'all? Glad y'all could make it." He said dapping Julian and side hugging Jayde.

"Glad to be here unc, you know where ma at?" He asked searching for his mother.

"She in the kitchen still cookin'. She might need some help bringin' the food out why don't you go see?"

Julian nodded his head while going towards the back door to get inside the house , Jayde trailed behind him.
Once they reached the kitchen there were four women standing around talking and sipping wine.

"Hey Juju!" A woman yelled out setting her cup down to hug him.
They pulled each other in and released the hug , "Hey Auntie Lisa!" He said to the lady that picked her glass up then her glanced at Jayde's face. "Hey Auntie Jen and Auntie Racheal." He greeted the rest of the women except one.

There stood a 4'5 light brown lady with a short pixie cut and hazel eyes. "So you gon pass up on yo mama?!" She said holding her glass of wine with one hand on her hip.

"I'm sorry ma, how you doin' today?" He pulled her in for a hug , practically picking her up because she was so small.
"I'm doin alright. Who's ya friend standin' behind you like we don't see her?"

"She ain't standin' behind him , he just big as hell!" Two men voices crept up with laughter from the dining room.
Julian face lit up when he seen who it was. "Yo pops what's good man! What's up big bro?" He hugged his father, James and brother, Julius.

"Aye y'all this my lady right here, Jayde. I wanted her to see everybody before I got to introducin' her." Julian said holding Jayde's hand as she waved and said hello to everybody.

"You're such a pretty girl Jayde. I heard good things from Julian and Bee." His mom , Angela said smiling at her.
"Thank you. It's so good to meet you all. I heard good things about your family as well."

"That's hard to believe cause all they do is smoke, drink and talk shit!" Said one of the aunts, whom Jayde forgot her name already.

"Jayde you can go have a seat outside and enjoy yourself, Juju I need you to help me bring this food out there. It's about time to eat." His mother said grabbing a pan full of food and giving it to him.
