It has been currently going on Jayde's fourth month of pregnancy. She was happy, but she has yet to tell Julian about it. He gave her some space and was hoping to hear from her. In the back of her head , she hoped that he hadn't forgotten about her because he was all she thought about. She was trying to prove to everyone she was good without him , but deep inside she was devastated without her partner in crime.
Instead , her and Malik had been getting closer and he was helping her though the pregnancy as a friend.
"Thank you for bringing in my grocery , I do not feel like cooking." Jayde laughed as she took a seat on the stool on the kitchen watching Malik put her groceries away.
"It ain't nothing to it fatty." He joked. Malik had given the nickname ever since he found out. Watching her grow every day was a beautiful. It reminds him of when he used to watch his baby mother carry his children."I gotta go pick the kiddos up from school. You need anything? Food? Snacks? Dick?" He jokes on the last part; but not really.
She laughed throwing a banana at him, "Get out Leek! Ugh."
He laughed before opening the door and closing it behind him.
Jayde walked to her bedroom , growing completely tired once she reached her bed.
She decided to check Julian's instagram to see what he'd been up to.There was no new woman in sight , but that didn't mean he didn't have someone. Even though , Malik has been there every step of the way she couldn't keep her mind off of Julian she swallowed her pride and dialed his number.
It rang three times before his raspy voice spoke through.
"Hello?" He said."H-hey Julian. What you up to?" She said nervously.
"Just left the gym. It's good to hear to you Jay." He said softly. She smiled , knowing that he was happy to hear from her.
"I was wondering if you would like to meet somewhere? Maybe Pink's Hot Dogs?" She said referring to where they had their first date. "I'm surprised yo ass remember that damn place. I ain't been there since—well you know." He said not trying to bring up the incident that made them break up.
"I haven't seen you since the fight. I heard you were bruised pretty bad."
"Yeah. That nigga ain't did too much of nothin' I healed up good." He told her. "How my little man Jace been?"Julian asked trying to change the subject. "He's been good actually, he's learning how to read. I'm so proud of my baby."
"Damn that's what's up." He said sounding happy. He really had a good bond with Jace , he knew who Julian was as soon as he entered the room. "What time you wanna meet up?"
"Uh , maybe around 4 is fine."
"Alright Jay , see you then." He said before hanging up.

Jayde threw on a a maxi dress that flowed to her ankles , it was a little bit bigger than her normal size because she wanted to surprise Julian about her pregnancy.
She reserved a table for two and waited for him. Julian arrived within fifteen minutes.
"Jayde. Wow it's been hella long. Come here." He said hugging her and kissing her forehead. "You look so pretty mama. Oh—and I got Thai for you. Happy Belated Birthday." He said pulling out a red velvet box with a pink ribbon on it from his pocket.
She took the box and unraveled the ribbon , opened the top and there was a necklace that had a heart shaped pendant and inside of it was a picture of her and Jace. "Oh Juju, this is so cute. I love it , but my birthday was two and a half months ago." She laughed , trying not to burst into tears.
