Serene grabbed her crying baby out the bassinet , wishing she would stop. It was currently 4am and she had just put her daughter to sleep ten minutes ago. "Hush Spirit. It's okay baby girl." She planted kisses on her baby forehead as she held her carefully. Davon was knocked out with a bottle in his hand.
She rolled her eyes , sitting in the rocking chair trying to get her baby back to sleep. Knowing that she had to be up in three hours to fly out for a photo shoot , she decided to wake up Davon so she could at least get a quick nap.
"D, wake up. Please." She kicked his leg with her foot.He groaned , rolling over now his back was facing her. "Davon. Please wake up and take Spirit , I have to be up at 7 and I am hella tired." She whined.
"A-alright. Get some rest bae I got her." He got up , taking the baby from Serene arms now sitting in the rocking chair.
"Thank you. I love you." Serene hopped in the bed, going to sleep within minutes.
"I love you too girl." The baby's crying seized after Davon feed , burped and changed her. Now they all were sound asleep.

"I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the hospital bestie. I hate this so much , cause you were there for me." Serene was at the airport, talking to Jayde who could be giving birth at any minute.
"It's okay girl , go and make your money. I'll send you lots and lots of pictures." She said , sounding sleepy.
"Okay. Did you get the flowers I sent?"
"Yes they're so beautiful. Thank you." Jayde said.
"You welcome girl. I gotta go sista. You better send me pictures once my baby girl arrive and tell everybody I said hi! I love you." Serene said getting in one to board her flight to Houston, Texas.
"I surely will. I love you , bye." They ended the call.

As soon as Serene check into her hotel , she received a text from Jayde.
Serene shed a few tears , staring at the picture her best friend just sent of her God Daughter, making her miss her child even more. A few months after she had her baby , Serene decided to get back to work. Her body snapped back perfectly and she stayed on top of everything to maintain it the shape she had before baby Spirit.
Wiping her tears , her phone started to ring. She smirked at the contact.
"What do you want Rick?" She playfully rolled her eyes , walking around her hotel room.
"I see you in my city and I want you, what you mean?" The man said, flirting.
"You know I'm here for work. I can't be on bullshit wit you this time." She said. Whenever Serene went out of town for business and modeling gigs, she often went to the club with her out of state friends and always met a man who wanted to spend thousands on her for a good time. This was a secret she kept to herself —Jayde didn't even know and if she did Serene knew she'd be upset with her but still tried to support her because that was her best friend.
