"Hey come in." Jayde said smiling at Malik who seemed taller than the last time she'd seen him.
"What's up stranger?" He greeted , pulling her in for a hug. He smelled like vanilla. Jayde really needed a hug right now and she was so happy that he was here.
"I know it's been a minute hasn't it?" She said locking the door before going back to the couch in the living room.
"Hell yea. I only got texts and phone calls with no in person invites. I missed you Jay." He said kissing her on the cheek."I missed you too Leeky."
"Have you been watching The Notebook again?" He joked seeing that her eyes were red.
" What, no. Why?"
"I can tell you been cryin'. What's wrong Jay? Who I gotta stab?" He joked again trying to get Jayde to laugh and lighten the mood.
"I met this guy , and things were going good until they weren't but I'm ok now. Have you found you anybody yet?" She asked trying to take the attention off herself.
"Nah. All these females the same." He shrugged switching his position on the couch, laying on Jayde's lap.
"What do you mean?"
"I haven't found the 'one'. I didn't even think my kids mother was the one, but I loved her. I mean I did think about you though." He said smirking looking up at her as she looked down at him.
"What about me?" A small smile crept on her face.
I thought about makin you mine until you ghosted a nigga.""I did not ghost you. We agreed to be friends Malik." She began to rub his hair that was neatly cut and had deep waves in an upward direction—so she wouldn't mess up the wave pattern.
"Yeah I agreed to it because it seem like another nigga had yo attention and I see I wasn't wrong. All you wanted to do was text me. You ain't wanna chill with a Nigga or nothing. Last time I saw you was when I gave you head and-"
"Let's not talk about that right now." She said tapping his head for him to stop talking.
He laughed at her getting nervous "Oh what? You ain't like it? Need a do over?"
"N-no I don't. I'm good."
"Then why I can't talk about it?" Malik asked raising an eyebrow.
He didn't understand why would she do something if it wasn't ok to bring it up."Because I don't trust myself around you Leek. I'm clearly attracted to you and I don't want us to indulge in certain conversations and it leads to something else. I'm not ready for that type of relationship right now." She said giving the fact that she just broken up with Julian three hours ago.
"But you trust me don't you?" He asked looking at her beautiful face while she looked sad.
Jayde nodded her head in agreement not taking her eyes off his. Malik quickly sat up still keeping the daze of her in his eyes. "I couldn't stop thinking about you. I'm glad you invited me over." He pressed his lips deeply against hers as they indulged deeper into the kiss , swiping tongue and spit to one another. Jayde's body grew hot and her nipples started to harden making Malik caress them , still locking his lips in hers.
A soft moan escaped Jayde's lips , as she was getting turned on by the second phone vibrated.
She pulled away from the kiss checking her phone , noticing she received a text from Julian.
