Jayde and Julian's relationship has progressed so much since the beginning, she also let him form a relationship with Jace— she was hesitant at first , but Jace actually grew to like Julian. He didn't make it official yet, but Jayde knew that was in the plans. She set her boundaries with him until they were fully together; which meant they would see each other but won't spend the night , had sex with condoms only , and limited time on FaceTime or regular phone calls. Jayde wanted him to work for the boyfriend title , if he wanted it so badly as he says he does , he'll do just that.

Jace's birthday party was being held at Jayde's house since it was a small group of people that she invited. She welcomed Kai and his family to come as well. Nobody liked Jayde on Kai's side of the family , but his mom and grandma. His sister didn't like her , instead she liked Naija better—Jayde also invited her as well. She didn't want any bad blood giving the fact that she moved on and she also wanted Jace to be close to them since he had a new little sister whom they named Nalani.

"I just sat the food out and put the balloons in front." Serene said , coming out with a plate of food.
"How are you eating the food and the party didn't start yet?!" Jayde asked in frustration.

"I ain't eat shit all day. Them kids ain't gon know the difference, they here for fun and cake." Serene waved her hand digging back into her food.

"Ju, can you help me set up these tables? I thought your brother was coming?" Holding her hand over her eyes to block the sun—she had an attitude because it was so hot which on the other hand was glad so her baby and the other kids could get in the pool she just finished blowing up.

"Yeah I gotchu. He said he gon be here in 30, and he asked if it's coo if he bring Kennedy and they kids wit him?" Julian asked making sure it was okay for Julius' girlfriend to come. Jayde had no problem with her , it was the other dusty bitch , Micah that she didn't ever want to see again.

"Yes she can, just them." She said squinting her eyes at him, because of what happened a few months ago at the cookout.

Every one arrived an hour after the initial start time and they all brought gifts and their kids to have a good time. Serene, Jayde , Julian , Julius and Kennedy were all at a table sitting there talking and the ladies were sipping on wine. The only people who hadn't shown yet was Kai and his family.

By the time he arrived it was an hour before the party was almost over and they started wrapping things up. They already sang happy birthday and now Marilyn was passing goodie bags out to the kids. Kai backed a U-Haul into her drive way that was full of toys and clothes. His mom got out the passenger side going into the backyard to find Jace after greeting Jayde and her company.

Jayde rolled her eyes watching him unload the truck. "That's him?" Julian asked nodding his head towards Kai. This would be the first time Julian actually met Kai in person—all he ever did was see him on social media or when he would FaceTime Jayde regarding their son.

"Yes. Please don't do anything crazy. You either." Jayde said to Julian and his brother because the look on their faces were intimidating and she just knew if Kai even looked or breathed at her or them wrong Julian would handle it.

She thought this would make up for all the things he did these past few months but it didn't. Julian stood by Jayde as they watched him walk towards their direction.

"My bad I'm late. I had to shoot a few moves." He approached the two of them. Kai took a quick look at Julian then back at Jayde. "Well hello to you too." Serene said with a mug on her face.

Kai smacked his lips turning his attention back to Jayde. 

"So shooting moves is more important than being here with your son on his birthday?" Folding her arms mugging him. She damn near hated this nigga. Kai was a great father until he met Naija.
