Here's chapter 1, enjoy humans!
"If I don't find this music room soon I'm going to be late!" I fretted to myself, "and on the first day of classes too." I sighed and looked down at the useless schedule in my hands. I say useless because even though it had my class schedule and teacher list, it neglected to tell me which classrooms to go to. "These ridiculous people," I groaned to myself, "Haven't they ever heard of being prepared?" It was my first day at Ouran Academy and I was completely lost, and I was not about to infuriate one of our country's most influential children by interrupting whatever they were doing. I wandered around the first floor for a few minutes before I decided to make a systematic search of the building from top to bottom. Just as I placed my foot on the stairs an odd bell rang, I assumed that it signaled the start of classes. "Great," I muttered under my breath unconsciously grabbing a strand of my short red hair and twirling it around my fingers, "I'm late for class. Sensei is going to give me a detention for sure." Since there was no point in rushing about like a frightened mouse any longer, I took my time climbing the grand staircase to the third floor, twirling my hair all the way. When I reached the top I realized what I was doing and instantly stopped, the panic in my mind flashing across my face. "Oh no! I hope nobody saw that." I thought as I pushed the loose strand of hair back behind my ear and continued on my search. I wandered the halls staring at the classroom signs until I came to one that read Music Room 3. "A music room, this could be it!" I practically squealed out loud. I half walked, half ran to the door and took a breath, stealing myself for a good thrashing and slowly cracked the door. The sweet smell of roses met my nose and a sultry voice called to me through the slightly open door.
"Come in little one." It purred.
"What a strange Sensei." I thought to myself as the voice sent a shiver down my spine. When I finally realized what it said I crossed my arms and looked defiantly at the partially open door.
"Hey," I mentally protested, "I'm not that short!" Which was a lie; I was only five feet tall. Even here in Japan that's considered short. Again the sultry voice called to me.
"Come now, don't keep me waiting." And again a shiver went down my spine as it beckoned. I took a deep breath and stepped through the doorway as I thought to myself, "This is going to be a long year."
Hey humans! I hope you enjoyed chapter one. Chapter two should be up soon. Until then, peace!
