Kyoya's Pov

I stared out the window, watching the trees dance about in the breeze. It reminded me of the way her hair danced in the wind. I sat for a moment, lost in thought, before I was able to shake myself beck to reality. "Why does Japanese history have to be so dull?" I sighed inwardly. As I struggled to pay attention, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. Who could that be? I discretely removed my phone and flipped it open. New Message from Fuyumi flashed across the screen. My first thought was that something had happened and I rushed to open the message.

Fuyumi: Yuki and I are raiding your closet. Don't be mad :P

"That girl." I sighed to myself as I pushed my glasses back into place.

Me: Do whatever you want.

I returned my phone to it's pocket and continued to struggle paying attention all through the rest of class. Fortunately my phone remained silent, making it much easier to focus, and remained so through the rest of the morning. Lunch was uneventful, just the usual blabbering of the clubs idiotic president and the ridiculous antics of the others. The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch and I began to collect my things.

"Hey, Kyoya senpai," I turned to see Haruhi standing a few feet away, looking straight at me. "I wanted to apologize for how I acted yesterday." I turned to stare at her, expecting her to continue. "It wasn't fair of me to assume anything about Yuki based on her family. She ran away yesterday when I told her I knew she was a girl. That's not something a violent and dangerous person would do." I returned to gathering my things as Haruhi continued on. "I wanted to apologize to her myself but she didn't come to school today."

"Yes I am aware." I replied dryly. "She wasn't feeling well last night so I told her to take the day off." Haruhi gave me an odd look but I brushed it aside. "I'm glad that you are able to see past your foolish assumptions and fears Haruhi." I plastered a smile on my face. "I'll be sure to relay the message to her." As Haruhi turned and walked away, my phone buzzed once again. "Ugh what now?" I thought to myself as I opened my phone, revealing another message from Fuyumi.

Fuyumi: Wow, Yuki is amazing! Did you know she can cook?

This information was news to me. Most of Yuki's personal life was still a mystery, as her father had hidden her as much as possible.

Me: Can't this wait Fuyumi? School will be done in a few hours and I'll be home after the club. We can talk then.

I closed my phone, hoping that would be the end of the messages but as I walked through the halls my phone buzzed once again.

Fuyumi: Just thought you'd want to know more about her since she'll be staying with us... In the room right next to yours ;)

I could feel my cheeks flush ever so slightly. That Fuyumi could really be a pain. I quickly replied with a "whatever" and closed my phone. I had just slipped it back into my pocked when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned to find Tamaki staring directly into my eyes. We were silent for a moment before he spoke.

"Your face is a little red Kyoya, are you feeling okay?" I could see the concern in his eyes but that didn't make me feel any better. I was not okay. Fuyumi got to spend the whole day with her while I was stuck here with this idiot.

"You have hollandaise sauce on your jacket." I calmly pointed out, quickly shifting the focus from my blush to Tamaki's soiled jacket. I began to walk towards my next class, hoping that had ended the discussion. Unfortunately, Tamaki quickly cleaned up the spot and caught up to me.

"Seriously Kyoya, you seem really off today. What's going on?" I know he was just worried for me but he's just so annoying. I let out a deep sigh and completely ignored him as I entered class and took my seat. I was half annoyed when Tamaki took the seat opposite me, but then I realized, to my dismay, that we had the same classes for the rest of the day. I spent the rest of the day dodging questions and deflecting Tamaki's persistent badgering. I began to make my way to the club room when my phone buzzed. I quickly checked the message.

Fuyumi: Yuki's clothes have been delivered. Everything went smoothly, nothing out of the ordinary. We're gonna go try them on.

I half smiled and silently thanked Fuyumi for being able to at least take something seriously. As I climbed the stairs, my mind began to wander to Yuki and some of the items I had picked out for her. I could feel the slight blush return as I pictured her in a few different items I had chosen. Almost as if on que, my phone buzzed with another message.

Fuyumi: Do you want pictures? ;P

Damn her! I could feel my whole face flush and I struggled to regain my composure. She's going to get an earful when I get home. By the time I had reached the clubroom, I had managed to erase all trace of blush across my face. As I was about to open the door, my phone began to vibrate. I removed it from my pocket to find it was a call from Dr. Yamaku.

"This is Kyoya Ootori." I quickly answered.

"Mr. Ootori, this is Dr. Yamaku. I've just left Ms. Kasuka and she will be able to attend classes tomorrow." He stated. "Her fever is gone and her health seems to be improving on all fronts." I let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you for your help." I thanked him. We quickly said our goodbyes and I pocketed my phone. I quietly opened the clubroom door and made my way to the other side of the room, taking a seat at my usual table. As I pulled my laptop and notebook from my bag I heard a noise. I looked up to see the entire club around my seat, looking rather ashamed. Before I could even speak Tamaki raised a hand to silence me.

"Kyoya, we're sorry about yesterday." Tamaki began as he bowed his head. "We should have trusted your judgement." I sat there, slightly taken aback while everyone in the club stared at me.

"Is Yu-chan okay?" Honey asked rather sheepishly.

"That's right," Tamaki spoke again. "I didn't see her in class today. Is she sick?" I pushed my glasses back into place before answering.

"She did catch something with all of her outdoor activities yesterday, but the doctor has assured me that it's nothing more than a slight cold. With the proper rest and care, she should be back tomorrow." The club sighed in relief and Tamaki put a hand on my shoulder.

"You should go home Kyoya." He stated matter-of-factly. "I can tell that you're worried about her."

"There's no way I'm leaving the club in your hands." I answered curtly. "Not even for one day. We'll be bankrupt for sure." I chuckled a little at that last part. While Tamaki was indeed careless when it came to spending the clubs budget, I don't think even he could exhaust all of our resources in one day.

"Oh we canceled the club for today." The twins chimed in.

"Why would you do that?" I asked, more than a little surprised.

"So we can all go see Yu-chan!" Honey shouted excitedly. I had to stop for a minute and process the words before I could respond.

"Why do you want to go visit her? Just yesterday you were scared half to death just hearing her name."

"Because," Tamaki answered with a grin. "We want to apologize to her in person. Even if you tell us no Kyoya, I know where you live. We'll just show up anyway." I sighed as I realized that he had a point. I began to put my things away.

"Well you might as well stay for dinner then. Father is away on business and I don't think the staff will mind the extra company." As I stood, I quickly sent a text to Fuyumi before we all began to make our way down to the limos. I didn't want the club to stay, but there was no way around it. I just hoped that they would leave quickly so I could have some time with Yuki. As we all climbed into our vehicles, I couldn't help but wonder what would unfold at our little impromptu dinner party.
