Kyoya's POV

As the school day drew to a close, I dreaded returning home. My father was a cold and calculating man. Not knowing what he wanted was more than a little unnerving. I began to make my way to the club room, only to be ambushed by Tamaki halfway there.

"Any news from your father?" He asked expectantly and I shook my head.

"Only that he wishes to speak with me the moment he returns home." There was no reply and I turned to see Tamaki staring at me, his face riddled with concern.

"What are you going to do if he wants you to marry someone?" He asked quietly. I could tell he was worried. "Losing you would kill Yuki." I tensed a little when Tamaki brought up Yuki. I couldn't afford to lose her, not to my father or to hers.

"We'll deal with that when the time comes," I responded curtly. "but I don't think it has anything to do with that." I turned back around and began climbing the stairs. "It's far more likely that he wants me to come with him to one of his business meeting, since both of my brothers are currently unavailable." I made my way towards the top of the stairs, leaving Tamaki trailing behind.

"When is he supposed to be home?" I heard him call from a fair way behind me.

"Not until almost dinner time." I called back over my shoulder to Tamaki. When he spoke again he had managed to catch back up to me.

"Didn't you mention that Yuki has practice with Honey Senpai after the club? Is she not going today?" Tamaki continued on my way as I let out a sigh.

"Yes she does. I usually go with her but today she'll be going alone. I'll see her off with Honey Senpai and Mori Senpai and then return home. Another car will come to get her. Do you have anymore questions?" I shot back.

"No sir." Tamaki Jokingly saluted me. We continued to the club room in silence. When we arrived, we were greeted by the sound of utter chaos from the other side of the door.

"Why do we have to wear these?" I could hear Haruhi and Yuki complain from the other side of the door. I silently pressed my ear against the smooth wood, listening carefully.

"Because we said so." The twins responded. I gave Tamaki a confused look, but he simply shrugged in response.

"Fine," Haruhi resigned. "It's not that big of a deal." There was silence for a moment before I heard Yuki speak again.

"I don't think Kyoya will like this." She  sounded almost afraid.

"It's just cosplay. He'll have to dress up too." Haruhi tried to reason with her.

"Yeah but he won't have to dress up like this." Yuki continued to protest. "I'm telling you, he's gonna be furious if he sees me in this."

"I think you look really pretty Yu-chan!" Honey Senpai exclaimed.

"He's not gonna like it. She should change." I was surprised to hear Mori Senpai speak so openly and I began to feel uneasy. I pushed open the door and everyone turned. At first everything seemed normal, until I noticed Yuki standing on the far side of the room,  looking rather embarrassed. Each of the other members were dressed as Arabian royalty, as we had discussed. Yuki, on the other hand, was wearing a rather revealing belly dancers outfit and Haruhi held a matching one in her hand. Thankfully there were no guests today, but seeing Yuki dressed like that made my blood boil and I could feel my face flush.

"What moron came up with this idea?" I seethed. The others exchanged worried glances before the twins spoke up.

"We thought you might like this outfit better." They responded in unison, clearly trying to get a rise out of me. I closed my eyes and took a breath to calm myself.

"Yuki, go change back into your uniform." I instructed and she instantly complied. I turned to Mori Senpai and spoke loud enough for everyone to hear me clearly. "Should I have to leave, I am placing you solely in charge of Yuki's wellbeing Mori Senpai. I clearly can't trust the rest of these idiots." Mori nodded as the others began to protest.

"What did I do?" Tamaki protested from the doorway. "I had nothing to do with this."

"Come on Kyoya, we were just having a bit of fun." The twins chimed in. I turned my back to them coldly.

"It was inappropriate and irresponsible." I cast a glance to the closet door, waiting anxiously for Yuki to reappear. "Imagine if someone had decided to walk in and saw her in that outfit. Please keep in mind that to everyone else in this school, she is Mr. Yuki Kasuka. Her alias would have been absolutely demolished." I began to walk toward the back door as I continued speaking. "We don't know where her father has hidden informants, or heaven forbid, an assassin. Which one of you is willing to be held responsible for any harm that comes to her?" I stopped in front of the door, waiting for any of them to respond. When none of them did, I knocked. "Have you decided what to do about this afternoon?" I listened intently for a reply but heard none. I knocked again. "Yuki? Did you hear me?"

"Just a second!" She called from the other side. I waited a few moments before the door was opened and Yuki stood in the doorway, dressed in her uniform. "What was the question?"

"Have you decided what to do about this afternoon?" I repeated.

"Oh, let me talk to Honey Senpai before I make a decision." I watched as she made her way across the room to where Mori Senpai and Honey Senpai were sitting. They spoke for a moment, then Yuki returned. "Honey Senpai said not to worry about practice today, so I'll be coming back with you." I nodded.

"Then we'll head back to the estate as soon as the club meeting is over." Yuki nodded, and I quickly turned and motioned for the others to take their seats. Once everyone had gathered around, Tamaki began the meeting. Strangely enough, he managed to keep the meeting short and we were able to leave almost a half an hour early. As Yuki and I made our way to the front of the building, I noticed that she was becoming increasingly anxious.

"There's no need to worry Kitten," I whispered to her. "My father always treats his staff kindly. Besides, I'll be there with you." I could see Yuki roll her eyes.

"That's not what I'm worried about and you know it." She shot back. I nodded

"You're right," I admitted softly. "And that's not something to be concerned about either. I told you that I would arrange things so we could be together." I understood why she would worry about my father taking an interest and an active role in my personal affairs, but I had everything under control. I had accrued multiple private business interests over the last few years and was well enough off to be able to afford an estate about half the size of my fathers. I had arranged for a quiet wedding outside of my fathers reach and all I had to do was make one phone call for everything to work in our favor.

"That might be true, but you're just as nervous as I am." She mumbled almost as if she was talking to herself. A smile crept across my face, nothing could be further from the truth. For the first time, I really couldn't care less about my fathers opinions and expectations. It made no difference how he felt or what he wanted, this time things were going to fall in my favor no matter what.

"Not at all," I reassured her. "There's nothing that my father could possibly do or say to dissuade or prohibit me from being with you." We stepped out into the bright sunshine just as the car came around. I stepped forward and opened the door, allowing Yuki to enter before I climbed into the car myself. I quickly sent a message to Fuyumi, asking her to cancel the car for Yuki. "So, are you nervous too start your first day as our chef?" I asked teasingly. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Yuki smile.

"Oh believe me," She spoke confidently. "Tonight's dinner is gonna knock your socks off." She thought for a moment. "Maybe more than just your socks in your case." She whispered with a  wink and I couldn't help but chuckle. Either way it was sure to be an eventful evening.
