We just stood there for a moment, staring silently at each other, before my brain began to scream. "Gah! I'm such an idiot! Why do I always have to talk to myself? if he heard any of that he's gonna think I'm crazy. Oh no, did he hear what I said, about him having feelings for me?" My face began to feel hot at the thought and I quickly looked down at my feet, hoping that Kyoya wouldn't notice.

"Kyoya, how long have you been standing there?" I asked nervously, looking up just enough to see his face, expressionless. My heart sank.

"Long enough." His tone was so even, not giving even a hint of his emotions away. We stood there for another second before Kyoya began to move towards me. The room wasn't too big and in just a few strides he was right in front of me. His face hadn't changed. I had been telling myself that he didn't care for me in the same way, I had been preparing myself for the rejection. Why, if I went through all that, did this silence hurt so bad? I tried to hide the tear as it fell but Kyoya placed his fingertips under my chin, raising my face so I could look into his eyes. "Do not ever, for one second, let yourself believe that you are not anything special." There was a hint of anger in his voice, but it was the words that shocked me. I couldn't believe my ears. "You are by far and away one of the bravest and strongest girls that I have ever met. You have faced nothing but hardship through your entire life, yet you don't let it control who you are." As Kyoya continued to speak I could fell my face growing red. "You worry about the hurt of others more than about your own wellbeing. You may have your scars and your weak points, but even with your shortcomings you're absolutely amazing." I felt like my heart was going to leap out of my chest, no one had ever said anything like that to me before. Before I could speak, Kyoya's lips landed on mine in a tender kiss. The kiss only lasted for a second before Kyoya pulled away. "I love you, Yuki." He whispered softly, just loud enough for the two of us to hear. My heart exploded and, for once, happy tears began to fall down my cheeks. I leapt up and threw my arms around Kyoya, planting my lips on his once more. I must have startled him because he fell backward on the cool tile floor, with me landing on top of him. I reluctantly pulled away after a few moments so Kyoya could prop himself up.

"I love you too, Kyoya." I half laughed as he fixed his glasses, which I had practically knocked off his face in my haste. He smiled, and wiped the tears from my eyes.

"Why are you crying Kitten?" He asked worriedly. I never thought I would like having a pet name, but he made it sound dignified, sexy, and cute all at the same time. Honestly, if this asked me to eat dirt and called me Kitten doing it, I probably would.

"I'm just so happy." I admitted. "I'm so happy that it's spilling out from my eyes." We both laughed and Kyoya rose from the floor. Before I could stand, he lifted me into his arms and carried me bridal style back to the bed. He set me down, tucked me in, and started to move towards the chair when I stopped him. "Um, Kyoya." I called to him, clearly uncomfortable.

"What is it?" He returned to my side and placed his hand on my forehead. "Do you feel unwell?"

"No it's just," I shuffled my feet beneath the blanket nervously. "Will you sleep with me tonight?" A devious smile spread across his face and for a second I was confused. In just a couple seconds I realized what he must be thinking and my face went redder than a tomato. "No no no! Th-that's n-not what I meant!" I stammered in panic, raising my hands in defense. Kyoya chuckled and placed a kiss on my forehead.

"I am well aware of your intentions." He said soothingly. "I was just teasing you." He walked back to turn off the light before returning and climbing into bed next to me, wrapping me in his arms.

"I could get used to this." I whispered as I settled into his embrace.

"As could I sweet Kitten, as could I." A small kiss and a few moments later, I began to hear light snoring behind me.

"I can't believe Kyoya snores" I thought to myself with a giggle. "But even when he does, he's so cute." I wrapped myself in the blankets, enjoying the warmth and closeness of the boy behind me as I drifted off to sleep.
