Eva's POV
The following days just flew by. Bojan had finished his lyrics and me and the boys from Joker Out were in the studio perfecting the arrangement. We played around with synths, popping balloons, sweeping old brooms, and various other random objects to elevate their song to the next level.
Bojan and I didn't have much time to ourselves. It didn't matter too much, we knew we were moving in the right direction together, and neither of us wanted to rush things, preferring just to let things progress naturally. But the more time we spent together, even if we were surrounded by Lauren and the band, I started to like him more and more. He didn't even need to do anything, even the way he interacted with the other guys made me think fondly of him.
And then that day came. Lau had said goodbye to the boys during breakfast, after which she left to go to class, and the boys finished up packing their suitcases. After loading the dishwasher I joined the boys in the guesthouse. Nace and Jan were sharing a room, and so were Jure and Kris. Bojan had the third room by himself, for which I was grateful at this moment. "Hey Bojč," I said, smiling when Bojan stopped packing and looked at me. I held up the hoodie that Bojan gave me earlier. "I still needed to give this back."
Bojan laughed and walked up to me, wrapping his arms around my waist and softly kissing my lips. "You keep it." He said softly. "So whenever you see it you won't forget to miss me."
"I couldn't not miss you." I countered playfully and wrapped my arms around his neck, dropping the hoodie behind him. "But I'll keep it. To have you close." I hummed and kissed his lips in return. "I'll get you something before we leave for the airport." I could see Bojan's face fall when I mentioned the airport. It was inevitable for us to say goodbye today. Neither of us were looking forward to it. And if we wanted to continue this, we had to get used to saying goodbye. "It'll be just three weeks." I assured him. After I'd get back from LA I had a couple of days in The Netherlands before Lauren and I would fly out to Ljubljana. She had already made plans with her aunt, Kris' mom, to visit her while we were in Slovenia. "You'll be touring and having so much fun, it'll be over before you know it. And we'll text, or FaceTime." I assured him.
"Okay, so we found a solution for me not to miss talking to you too much. How about me not missing having you in my arms? Or kissing you?" He asked, that all too familiar playful grin covering his face.
"I think we had this conversation before." I hummed, my lips almost touching his as I moved closer. "I'm sure all the boys would love to finally get to cuddle with you again."
"You know that's not the same." He kissed me again, deeper this time, far less innocent than those little pecks we've been given each other earlier. I, of course, let it happen. I kissed him back just as passionately, my hands were again tangled up in his hair. I was going to miss this. And I was going to hate saying goodbye at the airport like I didn't want to kiss him one last time. But with cell phones everywhere, we weren't going to take the risk of our faces smashed against each other being on social media the moment it happened.
"My eyes! Close the door next time you guys. EW!" The two of us broke apart and saw Kris standing in the doorway, laughing at us.
I pulled away from Bojan and tightly hugged his large frame. "Thank you for coming here." I whispered softly. "I had the best time."
"So did I." Kris said while hugging me back. "You smell like an overrated Slovenian singer." He joked before quickly running off when Bojan chucked a pillow at his head.
I went to sit on the bed as Bojan continued putting his final items in his suitcase. We didn't have too much time left, we were supposed to leave for the airport within half an hour. "I think that's about it." Bojan said as he put his suitcase near the door. He sat down next to me and laid an arm around my shoulders and pulled me into his side.
